I'm still the Bonnie D. Let's see what she has to say for us today. I think we have some very interesting news, little bits and pieces, and just a lot of fun. Okay, music milestones. We have some firsts and some lasts. Tchaikovsky. Piotr Ilyik Tchakovsky. His 1812 overture debuted in Moscow in 1882. In 1965, the Rolling Stones released I Can't Get No Satisfaction in the US. In 1969, the Beatles, it was their final day together, performing together as a force at the Abbey Road Studios. They were mixing tracks. They weren't performing, they were mixing tracks. And in 2016, Canadian rockers The Tragically Hip had their final show broadcast live to 11.7 million fans because you know Yeah, Gord Downey got it. Yeah, he wasn't. Well, we're just gonna leave that one alone. Okay, drink up! What are we drinking? We're drinking milk. 1993 got milk ads for the California Milk Processor Board, CMPB, didn't show milk. They just had satirized situations where empty milk cartons spelled disaster. Like trying to win a radio contest with a dry mouthful of PB and J. That campaign was retired all the way up in 2014. The slogan was paired with the milk processor education. That's a mouthful education programs, milk mustache campaign. It only I don't want you to feel badly, but people like Naomi Campbell and Stone Cold Steve Austin only got $25,000 for being in that campaign. Those things usually paid a lot more. The CMPB convinced Sesame Workshop to let Cookie Monster be in a got milk ad. And you see Kermit the Frog in there as well, and because they didn't usually do promotions. 80% of U.S. consumers saw a TV or magazine ad on any given day. In 2020, Olympian swimmer Katie Ladecki swam a lap balancing a cup of chocolate milk on her head, and skateboarder Tony Hawk shredded a half pipe holding a full glass. That's the gut milk challenge. 2025, Nicole Kidman accepted an award while chugging a glass of milk for an iconic scene in her movie Baby Girl. We don't go into that. You can read the campaign at fastcompany.com. There we go. And uh I'm not an affiliate of this woman's products. I'm not selling anything, but I thought it was interesting. This is called career stacking, where you build layers of complementary skills or income streams. Nancy Yen had a little has a little boy and he was going to preschool and she wanted a lunchbox that was insulated that could let her give him like a little thermos to keep stuff cold, a little box to keep stuff warm. So she designed one. It's called the Omi box, O-M-I-E-B-O-X. It's high-end. It is in the most expensive tier at Target. What happened with Target? They said, nope, time's not right. We don't want it. So she went out and she got a third-party seller via Amazon's Launchpad program. She was on a TikTok with Kylie Jenner, and the box got 64 million views, and Target came back and said, Oh yeah, we think we want to test it. They had an 80% sell-through in two weeks, sell-through in 400 stores, and now it's in 1800 stores. And there you go. It's insulated, it's got bits and pieces.
