Ep 126 Doug Scheetz, Pioneer Equipment and the Mechanical Spiders from Mars
Show Notes

Huge spiral springs, metal arms, long tendril-like wires, and bright yellow cogs with fingers were only a few of the things in the Pioneer Equipment booth at Horse Progress Days.  It may seem like we were under attack by the Mechanical Spiders from Mars, but Doug Scheetz, Marketing Director extraordinaire, walked us through the danger unscathed.

Okay, so it was really just the interesting new equipment available in the horse-drawn farm implement universe, but it looked like something scarier when we first hit the booth.  Doug explained the old, the new, and the improved things that are being displayed this year at Elara’s new favorite annual event.  All of this paraphernalia can do your work lickity split when hooked to a team of horses, a tractor, or an enterprising set of teenagers (okay, maybe not that, but don’t tell me you parents didn’t think about it for a minute).

We had a visual portion on this one as well, so we hope you get a chance to head over to our Backyard Green Films YouTube Channel for a look at the mechanical wonders for yourself.
