You can download the episode directly here.

Back with the first Common Weal Policy Podcast since the UK Coronavirus Lockdown, Johnathon Shafi and Craig Dalzell discuss the impact that the pandemic is having on Scotland and the UK. Craig describes his own experience with a relatively mild case of Covid-19 and looks critically at the UK and Scottish Government response to the virus especially in light of recent findings around testing strategy and around the approach to scientific advice in general.

Craig's article for Source on comparing levels of testing in Scotland to other countries is here.

The Article in Le Monde Diplomatique mentioned can be read here.

As well as a substantial timeline of the UK's strategy published by Reuters here.

Apologies for the drop in sound quality in this episode. This is due to the technical limitations imposed by the current UK lockdown.
