The Podcast with Justin, Brad and Steve is a question and answer format where you as the listener can submit ANY question and we will attempt to provide an answer. We have two rules. We don't know the questions beforehand, and there is no time limit on how long we have to answer. Why All the Killing in Joshua?
It doesn't take a Bible scholar to read the book of Joshua and see one glaringly obvious thing: there is a lot of killing. There are numerous examples where we see God gives direct commands to Joshua and the Israelites that they are to wipe out the people of the land they are taking. How do we process commands like this in light of God's goodness? In light of His mercy? In light of His love? Prayerfully, this episode will help you process through that question, and bring you confidence, trust, and even more affection for who our God is.
