Philip Russo is Director of Nursing Research, Cabrini Health and Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash University.

He is also President of the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC), and a member of several national infection prevention committees advising the Commonwealth Government.

He talks with us here about the issue of infection control in an aged care setting and how design and technology can be the best weapons we have in the prevention of infectious diseases and viruses in our ever-growing health & aged care sectors.
