What is up my fellow dreamers and soul searchers. Welcome to another episode of Roxy talks, where we discuss confidence, mindset, manifestation and more I'm Roxy Lee. I'm a mindset coach, and I'm here to help you banish your negative thinking and limiting beliefs. So you can bring love, clarity, and joy into your life.

Now today's topic is something that is universally important, whether you're manifesting love, money, career status, self-esteem self love. Uh, home, uh, family friendships and anything in between this topic is very important. It's very pertinent and it's something that I feel gets very confused and misconstrued in the manifestation community.

And it's interesting because this specific topic is almost like a catch 22 within manifesting itself because. We're going to be discussing the concept of controlling your manifestations and micromanaging and trying to get every step the right way and, you know, determine the date and make it happen by this.

And like be so controlling over it because you know, the idea is that we can, right? Like that's what I'm over here, preaching all the time to you is that you can do these things. You do have control. You are in control of your whole situation, your whole story. You can change your life. But the human tendency to wrangle something and wrassle it to the ground and, you know, beat it into submission, kicking a dead horse.

All of those euphemisms that we know that describe the human nature to overdo something to metal too much, to put too much into it that you actually undo your progress and you actually mess it up. Counter affecting your manifestation or your goal by doing too much. And we could be talking about doing too many affirmations, spiraling and obsessing doing too many, you know, visualizations or.

Meditations with the sole goal of creating a specific outcome, not for the benefit of meditation or scripting too many times during a day, driving yourself crazy, trying to do so many things except doing the one thing that is required for manifestation, which is just to chill. Just be a chill source. Rex, just hang out.

We know everything's working out for us. We know things are unfolding, and we know that if we get in the middle of it, we mess up the process somehow.

So the idea of the chill of source Rex is someone that can set their intentions out. They are declarations out into the world, into their mind, be clear about them and then sit back and relax and let. The chips fall, the way they fall, you know, ships land, where they land, right? Like let the universe do its job.

Let the universe do the doing you. Aren't the doer. You're the being, you're a human being, right? We've heard that phrase before. You're a human being, not a human doing, but that is the secret to manifestation. And that is why micro-managing controlling. Getting too obsessed with the, how the, when the, where the, why the who's doing what it's gotta be in this step or else it's not working.

Is the problem because underneath the micro-managing underneath the worry underneath the having to control the, how the, when the, why is a voice that is screaming. I don't have it. I don't think I can. I don't know how, I don't know when I don't trust the universe. I don't trust myself. I don't believe it's possible or anything that sounds even remotely like.

This uncertainty, a lack of confidence or belief in your ability to create a lack of trust in the universe to fulfill and bring you what you actually want. That's what's at the root of trying to control so much of your manifestation. So, if you find yourself, you know, you're doing the 5 55 scripting method, but maybe you're scripting a hundred times a day, or maybe you're obsessing over your affirmations and you're just drilling them into your head, but you're not actually benefiting from the words that those affirmations are speaking affirmations, program you into how you think in the future.

We're repetitive creatures. You think something enough, you're going to think it automatically. That's why we want to repeat the affirmation. That's why in the 360 method, I talk about bulldozing your thoughts and choosing your thoughts, choosing your thoughts, choosing your thoughts because the other half of the affirmations power is that they create or choose your.

The words you think and speak, select the realities that you will be experiencing out of the infinite potentiality of realities that are already in existence. Now that have already been created, that are already there. You're going to realities and existences that are already there simply by directing your direction.

Okay. I'm channeling or is there. They're coming to me as I'm speaking them, but you're, you're pointing yourself in the direction of which you'd like to go, because you're always going somewhere. Life has always moving you into a new reality, a new version, but it's only going to take you where you think it's going to take you.

It's only going to take you where you think it's taking you. So you have to tell yourself it's taking you where you want it to take you, but that's only half the battle, right? Because. I speak to a lot of people. In fact, this question came from mindset Monday from talking to so many of you in the community who are trying so hard to make it happen, that you're missing the whole point of it.

Yes. The affirmations helped create the reality. Yes. They convince you. They helped to convince you that your new reality is unfolding, but that's it right there is that if you're repeating the affirmation, I am loved. I am. Wealthy. I am safe. I am okay. Everything's working out for me. I have everything I need.

Life is abundant. Life is joyful. Life is perfect. Everything's working out best case scenario, whatever it is that you're repeating, whatever affirmation you're using, are you then living that way? Are you then operating from that standpoint and approaching your life from that perspective? Because if you're not.

This is why those affirmations aren't working because they can't drown out your truth. They can't drown out the real motives and notions that you are walking around with. It is possible to change your beliefs, but it requires a dedication. It requires letting go. And actually that's what we're going to be talking about next week's episode is okay.

What is the line between obsessing and letting go? So I'll talk about the next week, if this is resonating, stay tuned, but in the meantime, understand that when you're repeating these, these affirmations part of your duty, or even scripting or visualizing, creating a vision board, writing out your story a thousand times, whatever it is, if you're doing that.

That's part of your job, but the other part of your job is to work on living that truth. If you truly have everything, then what are you so upset about right now? If you truly had everything, then why do you need this thing to happen for you? Now, if you truly are loved and content, why do you need someone over there to show you?

X Y and Z behavior until you'll agree that you feel love because that's the real problem you're saying these affirmations and it's okay if you don't believe them at first again, repetition human brain. We will believe them eventually, but if you're fighting yourself on them every single time, Your old self is going to win.

Cause it's stronger than the new affirmations you're trying to write. So you have to put your affirmations in your mind and then look out for contradictions, look out for when you want to say. Yeah, but it's not here yet. Look out for when you are looking at your 3d reality and you're like, I've done all the things it's still not here.

How come they haven't texted me? How come there's no money? I'm like, why isn't this? Okay. I need this by this date. I'm scripting 50 times a day. This is coming by July 2nd. And I'm going to get this up and it's going to be like this and XYZ. The universe doesn't respond the same way that you might hope they would.

It's not that the universe can't respond to your date and it's not that the universe won't respond to your specifications. It's not that you can't micromanage. It's not that you can't control every aspect of your manifestation process. However, When you are approaching it from that perspective, you are operating under a few premises.

One that the universe is not as good or smart or powerful as you, if you are trying to micromanage how things about first thing I did text me. No, no, no. Actually back at first I needed an apology. Then I need this text. Then we need to have a phone conversation. I need them to understand these things. I'm going to tell him these things.

I need to respond them. Well, then I'm going to need two weeks of back and forth communication where I'm getting texts all day, every day, you know, You could have that you could focus all of your attention on unwilling that into existence and maybe get your text message, maybe get your apology. But what you won't be doing is fixing your broken patterns, healing any of the wounds within you that are causing this to happen or making any change or progress so that this doesn't happen in your future or that.

So you can control your future better because. Control is actually the anti control. And would, if not controlling is the control. When you try to control a raging river, you find that it controls you much easier, but if you let yourself flow with the river, you get taken where it's going, no matter what.

So you could fight the whole way or you could lay back and enjoy it. And that's exactly the difference between micro-managing and. When you're micromanaging, it's stressful. It's painful. It's a lot of energy exertion. It's a lot of how come it's not working. It's a lot of, okay, I need to do better. I'm not doing enough.

I'm not doing the right stuff. Maybe I should try something different. Maybe I need a different approach. Maybe they should listen to this coach. Maybe I should listen to this one. Maybe I shouldn't do this. Maybe I should text them. Maybe I shouldn't text them. Maybe I should apply for the job. Maybe I shouldn't apply for the job.

You know what? None of that is, none of that is. Ah, everything is working out. Wow. Everything is really working out. This is amazing. Everything is working out in my favor. Wow. It's all falling into place, man, man, everything works. This is so amazing. It feels so great. Wow. Damn. My life is good. Ooh.

Everything's just falling into place.

One of those seems much better. Doesn't it? Like I know I felt better saying the latter. I felt better. Being chill about it being a chill, a source, recs, being peaceful about it, letting it come, knowing that the universe knows what I want. I've been screaming about it this whole time, knowing that the universe has the abilities and that its ways are good.

Jillian's more powerful than mine. And who am I to think that I could possibly ever predict something better than infinite intelligence? And third, I am recreating the way that I approached the. I am changing what I expect to happen for me. I'm changing my patterns. I'm changing myself from just for blanket easy terms and a pessimist to an optimist, right?

Like when I'm choosing to use my thoughts to say words that describe the reality, I actually want to be in, even if it's just man, this is great. Life's cool. I got everything I need. I'm going to have this thing. This is working like that's not living life. It's not fun. It's not enjoyable. It's not counting your blessings either. It's demanding of them. And again, I'm not saying you can't get them. I'm just saying the universe works with flow energy flows. You are editing. So flow with your ideal reality, instead of trying to force it into submission, you don't have to force it at all.

It's already been created. Your ideal reality already exists. You have nothing to do with that. You're simply a passenger. You're a visitor, you're a tourist. So be like a tourist and chill the fuck out. Enjoy your vacation. Enjoy the ride to ideal reality. Lean back, kick your feet up, let the universe do the lifting and you do the enjoying and the being.

That's how you go from a human doing to a human being relinquished control over trying to micromanage notice when you're doing it. And you know what? I know it's gonna work out for me. It's the pattern. Of trying to force it into submission. That's the issue here. Notice when you're doing it and make a different choice, switch from, it's gotta be like this too.

You know what everything's working out and I love the way it's unfolding that energy gets you, what you want, the quickest, fastest, easiest, most harmonious way possible. That's how the universe responds in the best way to you. So learn and practice embodying that behavior. And. It's just practice. I promise.

I'm telling you from someone who didn't do it naturally, this was not ingrained in me from birth and childhood. I had to make myself do it and I make myself do it. I choose, I choose to make myself do it every single day, including today, including tomorrow and hopefully for the rest of my life. And hopefully for the rest of years, that is my wish for all of us.
