What is up? My fellow dreamers and Soul Searchers? Welcome back to another episode of the Roxy Talks Manifestation podcast. And I'm really excited today because we're talking business. I love talking business. I'm a business owner. It's my passion and. I love helping other business owners, you know, feel good about themselves and feel excitement about their business and open up new ideas of possibility for themselves.

It's actually probably my favorite part about coaching. So this week, in honor of my very first business Mastermind launching this week, today we're talking about how to build a brand that lasts. And if you're not a business owner, this is still important information because this is how you. Life. Good for you.

This is how you can create a community. This is how you can create a business if you want to. This is how you can create an environment around you that supports you, even if you're not building your own business. This is a way to become an expert manifestor and life liver and just overall enjoyer of what you have, because these tips are about being yourself and really diving deep into what makes you amazing, and that's what speaks to a brand and an audience.

So this stuff is universal, whether or not you are a business owner, but if you are a business owner, I invite you to listen in, take some notes, and maybe apply this.  and then come back and let me know what kind of results you've seen as, uh, you are implementing these ideas and really diving deep into what it takes to be someone who is unapologetically themselves, who is trailblazing, who is creating a life they desire, no matter what that looks like, and is continuing to level up and live the life that they want.

That's who I wanna be. That's who I choose to speak. And if that speaks to you, then this episode's for you. So building a brand that lasts first things first, okay? This is so important. Number, number number one, be authentically you, be your gosh darn self. And I really did not wanna censor that, but it didn't sound  the way I wanted to sound it.

It sounded kind of mean and scary, but I really wanna say beer God soup. Fuck. Fudge. Fudge. Oh my mgs. I don't wanna go down the road. Hmm. Oh gosh. I don't wanna go down that road. I really don't because , because I am working on being my happiest self and going down the road of the people who are not authentically themselves or who steal content or who steal people's vibes or try to copy people, that shit, really, honestly, if I'm being authentically me, that shit boils my blood.

So I don't like to go down that road. I'm an an artist through and through, and so I 100% believe in inspiration and originality. That's what art is. Inspiration always comes from the outside world. That's normal. Excuse me. It doesn't always come. Sometimes it comes from within, but it's definitely normal for inspiration to come from the outside world.

But if you do not put your own stamp of authenticity, your originality on it, that's where it becomes a problem. That's where you're stealing and you're copying, and then you have no integrity as an artist or a creator or a business owner. In fact, When you borrow, when you share, when you are out speaking to people, be yourself.

Speak from a place of honesty, and I know a lot of people might be afraid of that, or they think that what they have is not interesting enough or they wanna try to be something else that someone else has done that looks really intriguing to them or they've been successful this way. They were successful that way because they were themselves and you have something unique that nobody else does that no one else can create.

Cuz even if they try to copy it, it's always watered down. It's always fucking spicy mayonnaise. It's never fucking something that's actually have some flavor, right? You can tell that it's stolen in, watered down, and that's another reason why it doesn't resonate with the right people. If you wanna reach authentic people, then you need to be authentically you.

And the other cool thing about being authentically you is that when you just stand in the way you are, the stuff you like, the things that bring you joy, you actually attract people with the same interests as you. . And so what once was something that may have been embarrassing to you or you didn't see it as particularly powerful or, um, exciting to the outside world actually becomes the holy grail to your audience because they're on the same vibe as you.

They're on the same wavelength as you. And so for me, I always use pink as a reference just because, I mean the color pink, because it's all over my brand and it's everywhere. But that's because my life is pink. I love pink. It's everywhere. House. I'm literally in a pink room right now. Every wall, even the ceiling is pink in this room I'm in, and the lights are pink and the curtains are pink, and I'm sitting on a pink pillow, on a pink fuzzy rug.

Everything in this room is pink because I like pink. It makes me happy. It makes me excited. So part of my branding was like, listen, I'm a pink girl. I have a pink. You know, attitude. I have pink energy of pink aura. I speak in pink. And so if you can't handle pink, then this isn't the place for you. And that's fine, but like, let me just get this right outta the way because, um, you know, I don't necessarily need to speak to people who don't have the same views or on the same wavelength as me, who don't understand me.

Why would I wanna waste my time? You know, going to them when I could speak directly to the people who care about what I'm talking about, who want to be here, who want to listen, who are on the same vibe as me, who want to exchange the way that I'm changing. Those are the people I wanna speak to. And so part of my branding is being so mean and so obnoxiously me that I naturally knock out the people who aren't aligned with it.

Cool. I have zero interest in speaking to people who are unaligned with what I'm doing. I literally don't want, I don't, it's not that I don't want to, but. , I've been odd and like the oddball, the weirdo, the black sheep, whatever, for long enough to know that like, I don't need everyone's approval. I don't want everyone's approval.

Not everyone's gonna get me or like me, and that's totally fine. Those that do, those are my peeps and those are the people I wanna talk to. And if you don't get me like within, uh, go do something that you like to do, like why waste your time? So, The more authentic you can be to yourself, the more true that you can be.

The more you, you can be in your shoes. When you are on, when you're on your podcast or you're speaking to your clients, or you're on your social media, or you're talking to your friends, or you're at work, or you're talking to your boss, it doesn't matter if you're on video, whatever it is that you're doing, the more you that you are, the more magnetic you will be to the people who are like you, to the people who will resonate with.

Saying and what you're presenting, and the more you will, in the most loving way, repel those that don't align. And that is a good thing. That's a good thing. So be authentically you. Don't be afraid to stand in your own uniqueness, because that is what makes you expensive. Actually, I'll give you an example.

I'm not gonna give away too much of this person's personal situation, but in our, uh, December group program that was Activate Your Power, this is a Synergy member. When we do 360, you get to automatically be in there in all of our group programs. So it's a really great way to stay in my world. If you're ready to commit. At least six months. Um, so this is a Synergy member, and we were in our group program last month and when we started the group, they had recently quit a squishy, comfy. , like, you know, normal job,  nine to five type job in a really good field and you know, a kind of field where you get letters behind your name. Like actually something that a lot of people would strive to, but that they realized wasn't really their passion and their dream and they felt like, man, I wish I hadn't wasted so much time in that field getting those, you know, that certification or that, you know, those accolades or whatever, when I really wanted to be doing X, Y, Z, which is something different.

and I said, listen to you a little Missy. What you have done all that time you spent in that job, getting those letters behind your name, having that experience that has made you more expensive than the other people in the field you're gonna go into, meaning you have just created a unique quality that nobody else is gonna have.

How many people are gonna be in X Y field, X, Y, Z field with this a b, ABC credential that you. , you have narrowed down the competition. You have just elevated. You've become so much more expensive just from the fact that you started in that field and now you're going over here. So if you're somebody who has spent a lot of time in one field and now you're wanting to start your own business and they don't have anything to do with each other or something like that, I promise you, I promise you, you will use that stuff and it's gonna make you more valuable as a fill in the.

When I, I went to school for behavioral science. I was a musician. I didn't intend to really ever use my degree in behavioral science because I was gonna be a famous musician. That was my whole life goal. And then on my path of musicianship, I dabbled in modeling, I dabbled in videography. I, you know, became a social media person as, I don't wanna say the word influencer, but you know, I've had social media accounts for a long time and have built that, you know, the brand.

I've built several brands and stuff. I had a radio, a radio show back in the day. All of the things that I did along the way actually made me who I am today. My degree in behavioral science helps me tremendously in this, my, my experience as a radio host is helping me in this very moment right now as I'm recording this podcast.

my music experience helps me create meditations, affirmations, and the music that I'm doing. I'm creating positive oriented music that you can listen to in your everyday life. My experience on camera as a videographer and as a model behind the scenes, behind the lens and in front of the lens helped me fill my videos.

So many things that I. That I didn't realize we're going to pay off one day, have all culminated and made Roxy talks what it is, and it's part of what sets me up, sets me apart from the rest. So I promise you, whatever you're doing is going to help you. Actually, I'm just thinking about another Synergy member.

Again, I don't wanna give anyone's too much stuff away, but we have a, another Synergy member who is going into, um, let's just say they're doing some sort of coaching with physical body. They're helping people with their body and, um, being out in the world and presenting themselves. And this person has a background in nutrition and the body and, and biology.

And they thought that wasn't gonna be a big part of it. And I said, listen, you're more expensive now, because now you don't just know about. Moving the body on the outside, you understand the mechanics of the body on the inside. Imagine a coach that was helping somebody with their stage presence or whatnot.

Also, having knowledge of nutrition and how to keep the body going and how to actually work the body in the best way possible. Now you have a mind body connection that makes you more expensive, so the more you can really. Sink your teeth into what makes you unique and then present that as part of who you are, the more magnetic you'll be and the more effective you'll be for the right people.

And that brings me to my next suggestion, which is to really go with your passions. Again, your energy is gonna be felt by your audience. They're gonna know if you're authentic or not. It's really easy to tell if someone's being fake or not when you listen to them or you watch them. And I'll say, The ones who can see it, can see it, and those who can't are maybe not living in their own truth either, and that's why they're drawn to those who are.

Me, I've always been somebody, again, I've told you I was kind of a weirdo. You know, I've been the out outcast, the black sheep person. So it's made me lean into my weirdness because I had to, you know, like I couldn't, I couldn't be this kind of weirdo and like operating half, half on one side, half on the other, didn't work for me to try to fit into the norm.

So I had to go all the way. I had to go, you know, all the way in the direction of who I am. I had to be completely myself. Say, you know what? This is who I am. I may not be what the average person looks, sounds like, talks like is interested in, but that's fine. I'm me and that's cool cause there's a lot of people who also relate to that.

So, being me helps me be authentic. It helps me reach authentic people. And then when I speak about what I'm passionate, You feel it? It's true. It's honest. It's from the heart. I mean it more than anything when I say that I want you, you listening right now to understand that you can have fucking anything in your world.

I mean that, I mean that this is my life's purpose to let you know that. And so I'm doing everything in my power to share this message with as many people as possible so that they can know. Imagine what kind of world we would be living in if everybody understood that the key to life is feeling good and being fulfilled, and then made that their number one purpose is to be satisfied.

Can you imagine how great of a world that would be if people were looking to not ruffle feathers to not have their traumas validated? Can you imagine?

So my passion, my passion to let everybody know that they can do this cuz I truly, this is my thing. I don't think it's fair that we don't all know this. That's like really what drives me. It's not fair. Everybody should know this. And then go on about your fucking way. I'm not gonna hold your hand. I'm not here to hold your hand.

I'm here to let you know, wake you up and give you the information so that you can go do it yourself. That's what I had to do. Nobody showed me, nobody made, nobody did this for me. I did it myself. Right? So, You have to take the knowledge and then you have to apply it yourself. So I'm here to give you the knowledge and to give you every tip and explanation down to the most fucking finite detail that I can of how to apply it to your life.

But then the rest is on you. But you can hear the passion in my voice, like, I'm serious about this. Like, bitch, you can fucking do this, and don't you dare come at me with some bullshit circumstance or some lame excuse as to why you can't, because I'm gonna tell you again that you can, I'm gonna break every circumstance, every limiting belief that you have down to fucking nothing, and reiterate that you are in control.

There's nothing you could say to me that I'd be like, eh, well, I guess you're fucked. So, When you're passionate, it drives you. It keeps you coming back every day. And that's something I can attest to because a lot of things about owning a business, like it gets hard and sometimes you don't wanna do it.

You don't wanna show up anymore, you want to. Shut the lights off, burn the fucking thing down and never show up again. And I used to think that was me until I started joining other like groups with entrepreneurs, like masterminds and shit. And I realized like that's just pretty common for entrepreneurs.

Like sometimes we wanna burn the shit to the ground and fucking walk away and never touch it again. But the thing that keeps us coming back is that we're passionate about it. We're driven by something besides money or success. It's the thing that makes us wanna be here on the. , what can I do to affect this world to make it more of what I wanna experience?

If this isn't the world you wanna live in, then what could you do to help make it more that way? How could you change what you're doing to affect the world to make it a better place to live in? Think about it from a selfish perspective. If you had unlimited funds and unlimited power, how would you affect the world so that it was.

peaceful and enjoyable for you to live in. Think about that because the next tip I have for you is to be malleable. You're gonna want to shift and pivot. You will at some point, the business model you are working on is not gonna work for you anymore. And I talked about that two weeks ago. That's exactly what happened to me over the course of 2022.

I was like, Uhuh not. . The Roxy that built this business is not the Roxy that's operating it today, and she doesn't want the same thing, and she definitely doesn't want the same fucking schedule. So I had to shift everything, my concept of myself, my concept of my business, what I was willing to do, what I was willing not to do, what I did in my business.

I took away all of my one-on-one coaching that was a big part of my income stream, and I just took it off the fucking. I was like, I just, I can't anymore. I can't do it at this capacity, and so I'm reworking how I'm doing it. It's more of a higher level, long term thing if anyone's interested in it, but it's just something that I offer for the right person.

It's not something that I'm promoting all the time because that business model no longer works for me. For who I am now. It's not that I don't love my clients dearly. I love you all so much. I love everybody that I talk to. I love everybody listening, but I also love myself and I have to put myself first.

I have to put my oxygen mask on first before I can put yours on, right? So I had to be fulfilled and happy and sustained and okay with what was going on in order to keep showing up or else, again, I would've burned the shit down. I ha my business coach and I have had conversations about me burning the shit to the ground and never coming back.

So many times I can't even. So again, my passion kept me here. My drive to share this information kept me here

and my willingness to be flexible, my willingness to change what I was doing, to trust that what I did would work out is helping me, and this is where I'm at now, is now I'm in this process of really figuring out, well, what do I want my business to look? . I built it in one way. It worked for a while. I decided it didn't work for me anymore.

Now I need to figure out what will work for me, what do I, how do I wanna work? How do I wanna show up? How do I wanna speak to my audience? How do I wanna speak to my clients? And so right now I'm in that refinement process. I've just added my business Mastermind, which is starting this week. So if you're interested and you want to join, there is still time.

If I hadn't had the courage and the flexibility to make those shifts and to just dive in, I might be still in that place where I'm really stressed out. I, I'm in the rat race, I'm on the hamster wheel, and I don't know a way out, and I really don't enjoy being in that place. And I don't think that I built my business to make my life be that.

And so that's why I wanted to shift and. Through my shift. I'm bringing you along the way. I've brought you along every step of the way as I've built my business, as I launched into it, as it blew up, as I've shifted, as I've gone through my own personal changes, and now as I look to a new horizon and I look to.

Where we're gonna be going in the future. I'm bringing you along the way, and you're here with me. You're growing with me, and this is how my brand lasts, right? Like we're talking about how to create a brand that lasts. Even if I do shift, guess who's coming with me? You are. I'm keeping you educated about what I'm doing along the way so that you understand where, where I'm at, why I'm making the changes I'm making, and I'm sharing with you how you can stay on board.

And if it doesn't resonate with you, I totally get it. I totally get it cuz I go through seasons myself and if you are ever you wanna leave and come back, guess what? I'll be here. So I don't know what, how I'm gonna be doing it. It might be in a different capacity, but I'll be here doing something so, The next part of it, actually, it's funny cuz I wrote these notes, but everything is flowing perfectly into itself, so thanks past self and current self.

Our next tip is to speak directly to your audience, which is what I'm literally doing right now. Connect with your people, find out what they're missing, and provide it for them and do, you can do it together. Because that's been my biggest thing with everyone, is like, I always wanted to be transparent about the fact that I'm not perfect.

I don't know what's actually going on on earth. I'm, I'm just a person like you who got really interested in studying this information. So I dove deep into it and then dedicated my life to it. I'm not any better or any different. This is just my number one thing manifesting my reality and making sure my thoughts are on point, is my number one fucking thing.

So that's why I may be, you know, I don't. I don't wanna say advanced or ahead or I've just been doing it longer, but that's the only reason is because this is my number one thing, not in anything else. So if you can take on that mentality, cool. I suggest it. If you don't have the bandwidth for that, put it in as much as you can because.

This is the fact of life. This is the fact of reality. You are creating your world as you're speaking, and so as I'm sharing my information, as I'm talking to you, I'm being myself through it. I'm growing with you. I'm sharing what I'm doing, and I'm showing you how to do it for yourself. And if it resonates and speak with, speaks with you, great.

You're in the right place. If it doesn't like, cool, there's so many other podcasts you can listen to, right? Like, and I don't mean that to sound snarky. I mean that with love. Like there's so much you can fucking get into. That's so cool. So find something or find the people that you wanna speak to, and then just speak to them.

Talk to them. Don't be afraid to open up to your community. Don't be afraid to connect with them. I've been going live with my community every Monday for like four. I always joke on Mindset Monday, like it's literally the longest job I've ever had. I've never , I've never had a job longer than four years, so, you know, and I'm still showing up every week and I love it and I love the people and we have such a good time together and we're such a family and it's such a big part of my life now, and I think it's a big part of everyone else's lives because the same people show up every week.

Speak to them directly, connect with them like I was just saying, but really, you. The more you know your audience, the better you are equipped at giving them what they need.

People are always really surprised at like, oh my God, this is exactly what I needed to hear. And it's like, I know it is because 12,000 fucking people are asking the same question. It's not hard to like figure out what people are missing when you have, when you have a, you know, direct connection to your audience because everyone's going through the same shit together.

We're all going through the same stuff at the same time. So it's very easy and very obvious to know what people need and what they want just by listening. Everyone's going through the same shit. Last week I talked about believing in your beliefs. I made that podcast episode because I had a bunch of people asking me about it.

How do you believe in your beliefs? What do you mean practicing beliefs? What does that mean? Well, let me just make a podcast episode about it, because so many people are asking, I know that everybody needs that information. I need that information. I need to be practicing my beliefs every day, which I am.

And so are you. Right? So you need to at least you could be if you want. Your ideal reality, you should be, is what I wanna say. Never stop learning and growing. That's my final tip here. Again, I'm growing with you. I'm learning every day. I read every single day. I watch videos. I listen to affirmations. I meditate.

I'm always, always. Trying to uncover more information to go deeper within myself, to expand my mindset, to think beyond what I've always known as possible, to grow and grow and grow, and then to share that with you. And I think that if you've been here for a while, you've been listening for a while, you can hear the evolution in what I talk about and how I talk about it and my perspective on who cares, right?

at the end of the day, I'm still just a person in my little pink room talking to myself right now. But if you're listening, then it's working. If you're listening to this right? My little dream that I had, even as a little girl, has come true. That's fucking crazy. And it's just because I did it. No one gave me the permission.

I didn't apply for this job. I bought my ass microphone. I signed up for the podcast platform. I made a logo for my podcast. I recorded this on, on my laptop. I just did it. I'm just doing. . I'm just doing it because I can and so can you. No one's stopping you. If you have the ability to speak, to share, to connect, then do it.

And you, if you're listening to the internet right now, which you are, you have the ability to grow and learn and continue becoming a more evolved version of your. You'll never know it all. There's never gonna be an end to what you can learn If you want to be. If you want to continue to be a resource to your people, then you need to expand what you know and what you share with them.

You're growing together. You and I have grown together. I'm not the same person I was at the beginning of this business, and I'm not gonna be the same person in the next three. , can you imagine who we're gonna be in three years after all the growth and the shit that we're working on right now? Can you imagine how much more expansive and full of belief and excitement you'll be if you do this for the next three years?

What will that world look like? What will happen if my goal of reaching billions of people. As it's coming true, I already, I've already reached millions so that I've already surpassed that goal, so I changed it to billions. Remember, my business is booming. I'm helping millions of people. Now it's, my business is booming.

I'm helping billions of people because I've already done millions. So what's gonna happen when it's billions? What's gonna happen when billions of people put their satisfaction, love and contentment first? Above all else? It's not gonna create a selfish world, I'll tell you that because when you put these feelings first, it doesn't make you feel selfish.

It makes you feel love. It makes you feel open and excited and eager, joyful. That's the kind of energy that will spread throughout the world. The more that you practice this. Isn't that crazy? Just by you making yourself happy, you're gonna change the world.
