As Christians we are challenged to keep the old man, with his/her lies, faulty thinking, and evil tendencies, in the grave. Scripture teaches that the person we were before coming to faith in Christ is now dead in Christ. We have been resurrected with NEW LIFE in us! God doesn't simply remodel the old person. No! The old person is dead. God makes us new! Here is the good news! I now have the power in the new man to overcome the influence of that old man.
