This week, Lead Pastor Patrick Chandler reflects upon Mary’s anointing of Jesus just prior to Passover, and the objection Judas raised of such wasteful and reckless behavior on the part of Mary, claiming the perfume Mary used could have been sold and the proceeds given to the poor. Jesus responds in part with a difficult saying: “You will always have the poor with you.”
