The Holy Spirit guides and directs our paths.
Hello, brothers and sisters. I'm just Joe No Tidal, and thank you for joining me for the Lord's Word of God today. And today we're in Tel Aviv, Israel, and it's a beautiful day. And today's message is about the Holy Spirit. So if you brought your Bibles today, please turn with me to the book of John, chapter 16. And we'll see what Jesus says in verse 26. But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to remembrance all things that I said to you. So the word speaks for itself. Now turn with me to the book of Romans, chapter 6. And we'll read verse 1. What shall we say? Shall we continue to sin that grace may abound? God forbid. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal bodies, that you should obey it in lust, and do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin. But present yourself to God as being alive from the dead, and your members of instruments of righteousness to God. You see, brothers, it is not God's desire that we continue to sin. When Paul would find himself wretched, he would seek after God more. We were never going to be perfect, but we press forward for that upward call of God in Christ Jesus, practicing righteousness, climbing that ladder up to heaven. Lastly, turn with me to the book of Jeremiah, chapter 17, and we'll read verse 8. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river. And he will not fear when he comes, and its leaves will be green, and we will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. And yielding fruit is bearing fruit, brothers and sisters, and that is using your talent to bring others to Christ. The word of God says that we are like trees planted by the waters, and the waters represents the Holy Spirit, that is life-giving, infinite power. So we know that all things work out in the end for those who love the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. So let us continue carrying the cross given to us by taking Christ as our master, our teacher, our example. Believe his doctrine and obey him. And read up every day because if you stop reading the Bible, the body will take over. And pray up every day, keep the love of Jesus in our hearts, and we will all be with our Lord and Savior for eternity.
