Hello, brothers and sisters. I'm just Joe No Tidal, and thank you for joining me for the Lord's Word of God today. And we know that all things work out in the end for those who love the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. Amen. Amen. And so, brothers and sisters, today's message is about bearing fruit. If you brought your Bibles, please turn with me to the book of Luke, chapter 13. And Jesus gives a parable, reading from verse 6. A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of the vineyard, For three years I have come seeking fruit on this tree and found none. Cut it down, why does it use up the ground? But he answered and said, Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. But if it bears fruit, well, but if not, after that you can cut it down. So brothers and sisters, the owner of the vineyard is Jesus. And the tree is a Christian, a believer in Jesus. But he hasn't bear fruit for three years. Bearing fruit is bringing others to Christ. And he has not attempted to do that for three years. And God is ready to cut it down. But the preacher, the keeper of the vineyard, says, Let it alone, let me fertilize it. And then if it doesn't after that year, do as you will. Now turn with me to the book of Matthew, chapter 25, we will read about the same subject matter in a parable that Jesus gives, starting from verse 14. For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who calls his own servants to deliver his goods to them. To one he gives five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability, and immediately he goes on his journey. Then he who received five talents went and traded with them and received five more talents. Likewise, the one who received two talents gained two more also. But the one who received one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his Lord's money. After a long time the Lord of those servants came to settle the accounts with them. So he who received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, Lord, you deliver to me five talents. Look, I have gained five more talents besides them. And his Lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will make you rule over many things, enter into the joy of the Lord. Now the second one did the same thing and doubled it, and the Lord said the same thing, Well done, good and faithful servant, you have been faithful in a few things, I will make you rule over many things, enter into the joy of the Lord. But the one who received one talent said to the Lord, I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours. But the Lord answered and said to him, You wicked and lazy servant, and read it from verse 30, and cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness, and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. So, brothers and sisters, the unprofitable servant are the servants not doing the will of God, and they're cast into hell. Clearly, after reading these two passages, it is definitely God's will that you bear fruit. Bring others to Christ. Use your talents to bring others to Christ. We all have spiritual gifts. You must use your gifts to lead others to Christ. And we must ask God how to use our gifts. Enoch, seventh from Adam, the word of God says he was taken up to heaven without dying. And his claim to fame was he walked with God. That means he did the will of God. And in Hebrews it says he pleased God. And that's the mind of Jesus to please God and do his will. And we all have to have the mind of Jesus, please God to do his will to be a child of God. Many people want to please God, but they don't want to do God's will. Not good. You must do God's will to please God. Now you're not going to preach Jesus to everyone you meet. Only ones that God has worked on. And the Holy Ghost will let you know who that is. The Word of God tells us, do not quench the Spirit. So when the Holy Spirit tugs on your heart to speak out, you need to act. So we need to think with the Spirit. And we all need to teach others what Jesus has done in our lives. Amen? Amen. In 2 Corinthians chapter 5, the Word of God tells us that we make it our aim to be well pleasing in God's sight. For we all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one receive the things done in the body, whether good or bad. So, brothers and sisters, continue bearing fruit, using your talents, your spiritual gifts, to lead people to Christ. Amen. Amen. So let us continue carrying the cross given to us by taking Christ as our master, our teacher, our example. Believe His doctrine and obey him. And read up every day, because if you stop reading the Bible, the body will take over. And pray up every day, keep the love of Jesus in our hearts, and we will all be with our Lord and Savior for eternity.
