By the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit, explaining the 10 Emblems of the Holy Ghost, at the Jerusalem Baptist Church in Israel.
Greetings from the great city of Jerusalem. This is Brother Joe, just Joe. Praise God. Amen. Amen. And so, brothers and sisters, we all know that if you believe that the only begotten Son came incarnated from heaven, died, was buried in the rose for your sins, and you've repented, you are filled up with the Holy Spirit. Brothers and sisters, today is Pentecost. Pentecost is a Greek word that means fifty. Fifty days from Passover is Pentecost. Fifty days from Passover is also. And what that means is that's when God Almighty gave Moses the Ten Commandments. That's also when he gave his promise to us. The Holy Ghost. And so also, if you have that Holy Spirit in you, when you hear someone preaching the word of God through the Holy Ghost, that spirit will bounce off your spirit and you will fill it. So, brothers and sisters, let's look at Pentecost. Please turn with me if you brought your Bibles to the book of Matthew, chapter 3, verse 11, we're going to read what John the Baptist says. I indeed baptize you unto repentance with water. But he who is coming after me is more mightier than I, and I am not worthy to carry his sandals. But he will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire. And I want to share with you that Jesus, before he ascends to heaven, he tells his disciples to wait for that promise. Do not leave Jerusalem. We will start reading Acts chapter 2, verse 1. And when the day of Pentecost said, come, fully come, they were all of one accord in one place. And suddenly came the sound from heaven as a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were all sitting. And then there appeared to them divided tongues as of fire on each of them. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit. So, brothers and sisters, the baptizing of the Holy Ghost was not a sprinkling, but an outpouring that overwhelmed the human spirit. And baptizing by fire is the Holy Spirit's power, cleansing you for the work of God. And there's ten emblems of the Holy Ghost. The first is fire, it is zeal and refining power. The second is dove, it is gentleness, harness, and comforting power. The third is water, it is life-giving and infinite power. The fourth is wind, it is resurrection power. The fifth is oil, it is consecrating and anointing power. The sixth is seal, it is redemptive and keeping power. The seventh is earnest, ownership and guaranteed power. The eighth is rain, it is life-giving and quickening power. The ninth is due, refreshing and invigorating power. And the tenth is gift, joyful, gracious and liberating power. And so, brothers and sisters, Jesus had an unmeasurable amount of the Holy Spirit. And the disciples had double the Holy Spirit. They had more grace to be able to endure what was going on with them. And they had more gifts to serve up and beyond what a normal human could. And so, brothers and sisters, you can have more of the Holy Spirit. Think of more of God in you. Think of more of Jesus in you. That is power. And so, brothers and sisters, what's inside of you, if you're saved today, is more powerful than anything in the world, including the devil. Amen? Amen. So, brothers and sisters, let us continue carrying the cross given to us by taking Christ as our master, our teacher, our example. Believe his doctrine and obey. And read up every day and pray every day. Keep the love ensure in your hearts, and we will all be with our Lord and Savior for eternity. Amen. Amen. So thank you, Pastor Al for letting me share the Word of God with your congregation.
