We need to think with the Spirit.

Hello, brothers and sisters. I'm just Joe No Tido, and thank you for joining me for the Lord's Word of God today. And so, brothers and sisters, if you brought your Bibles today, please turn with me to the book of John, chapter 4. And the message is about worshiping the Lord in spirit and truth. And to set the stage, Jesus has just left Jerusalem to go to Galilee. And he has to go through Samaria. And so he goes to the well, which is actually Jacob's well, and the woman's there of the Samarians. And he asked the Samarian woman for a drink of water. Reading from verse 19, the woman said to him, Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. Our fathers worship on this mountain. And you Jews say that Jerusalem is the place that you ought to worship. And Jesus said to her, Woman, the hour is coming, and you will neither worship on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. Worship the Father. But the hour is coming and now is, where the true worshipers will worship the Father in truth and spirit. For the Father is seeking such worship in him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and truth. And so, brothers and sisters, the truth is the Bible, and the Spirit is the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of you. If you believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came incarnated from heaven, died, was buried in a rose for your sins, and you have repented, you are filled up with the Holy Spirit. So now turn with me to the book of 1 Corinthians, chapter 6, and we'll read verses 19 and 20. But do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own. For you are bought at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. In John 14, 15, the word of God says, In that day you will know that I am in the Father and you in me, and I in you. So the Lord is inside of you, working out your salvation for you. The Holy Ghost has power over sin and teaches us how to live. And the Holy Spirit gives us power to resist temptation. But we must think with the Spirit. In Galatians 5, 16, the Word of God tells us, walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. And some people, brothers and sisters, deny the power of God. They sing worship songs to Jesus just with their mouth and not with their heart. They do not sing with the Spirit of God. So when you worship, worship with the Spirit of God. Amen? Amen. And let us always continue carrying the cross given to us by taking Christ as our master, our teacher, our example. Believe his doctrine and obey him. And read up every day. If you stop reading the Bible, the body will take over. And pray up every day, keep the love of Jesus in our hearts, and we will all be with our Lord and Savior for eternity.
