God blesses His servants here on earth as well as in heaven.
Hello, brothers and sisters. I'm just Joe No Tidal. Thank you for joining me for the Lord's Word of God today. And we know that all things work out in the end for those who love the Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. So today is about God blessing his children. Please turn with me to the book of Psalms, chapter 37. And we'll start reading, verse 4. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and he shall give you the desires of your heart. So God desires to bless his children. So now turn with me to the book of Matthew, chapter 7. And Jesus says, reading from verse 8, for everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds. And to him who knocks it will be open. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, you will give him a stone? Or if he asks for fish, will he give him a serpent? For you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children. How much more will your father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him? So, brothers and sisters, pray without doubting. And read in verse twelve. Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them. And so, brothers and sisters, what this means is show love to your neighbor first. So now let's turn to Psalms chapter 41 and we'll read verses 1 and 2. Blessed is he who considers the poor. The Lord will deliver him from the time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, and he will bless him here on earth. So, brothers and sisters, God has blessings for us up in heaven, but he also blesses us here on earth. So now turn with me to the book of Galatians, chapter 6. We'll start reading verse 9. Now let us not grow weary doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportune, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. So now turn with me to the book of Matthew, chapter 7. And Jesus says, reading from verse 42, and whoever gives one of these little ones a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward. So now turn with me to the book of John, chapter 14, and Jesus says, reading from verses 14 and 15. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commandments. So brothers and sisters, if you want God's love, you need to show him you want to receive it. Lastly, turn with me to the book of James, chapter 4. I'm reading verse 3. You ask and you do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. God's hand has to be in on it. So, brothers and sisters, I pray that God blesses every one of you that follows me and listens to my messages. And he blesses you with all your wants, needs, and desires. But God's will be done. In the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen.
