Hello, brothers and sisters. I'm just Joe No Title, and thank you for joining me for the Lord's Word of God today. Today's message is about salvation. It starts with Jesus on the cross, dying for our sins. And our sins were nailed to the cross. And our sins are forgiven by the washing of the blood of Jesus. And so for the key to salvation, let us turn to the book of Acts, chapter 2, verse 38. Then Peter said to them, Repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. And so, brothers and sisters, when you are baptized, you're a candidate to receive the Holy Spirit. But when you repent, which is turn from sin, you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus makes it very clear in the book of Luke, chapter 13, verses 3 and 5. Jesus tells them, unless you repent, you shall all likewise perish. And to repent is to follow Jesus in obedience. In the book of Matthew, chapter 7, verse 19, Jesus says, Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So, brothers and sisters, when you become a Christian, you need to bear fruit. And bearing fruit is leading others to Christ. And you're not going to share Jesus with everyone you meet. Only the ones the Father has already worked on, and the Holy Ghost is going to let you know who that is. So when the Holy Spirit puts it on your heart to speak out, you need to act. That's what the Word of God says when it means do not quench spirit. So lastly, turn with me to the book of James, chapter 2. We'll start reading at verse 14. What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save you? If a brother or sister is naked or destitute of daily food, and one of you says to him, Depart in peace, be warm, and filled. But you do not give them the things that are needed for the body? What does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is death. But someone will say, You have faith and I have works. Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. So, brothers and sisters, in the book of Ezekiel, chapter 36, verse 26, the Word of God prophesizes that God Almighty is going to give us a new heart, and he's gonna fill us with a new spirit. Brothers and sisters, that's the Holy Spirit. And the way you know if you are filled with the Holy Spirit, is you will have the love of Jesus inside of you. So always remember, brothers and sisters, it all works out in the end for those who love the Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
