Doc Talk: Venturing Beyond a Master's
Part 2: Mr. Patrick Mather - Having the Courage to Know Thy Self
Show Notes

In Episode 14, Allison visits again with her college classmate and friend Mr. Patrick Mather.   Today, they chat about the significance of knowing one's self and the impact that had on him and choosing  a clinical psychology path.  They also talk men's health and the role courage plays in improving it.

Mr. Mather is a 2001 Graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point (GO ARMY!!) who served on active duty for 16 + years as an Officer in the United States Army.  The majority of that time was in the Special Forces with deployments around the world.

Mr. Mather's passion for service to others compelled him to pursue a third career in behavioral health and begin a full-time doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS).

This is a great episode for anyone of course, but especially for Veterans or those actively serving in the Armed Forces as Mr. Mather is a Veteran who continues to serve as an Officer in the US Army Reserves.
