Show Notes

"Proximity to the 'X' does not denote importance to the mission."

This quote best sums up host, Allison Marschean's chat with Katie Matthew today.  Everyone is significant and plays contributes to the outcome of the mission.

LTC Matthew is an Active Duty Army Officer and a 3rd year doctoral student at George Mason University where she's pursuing her PhD in Public and Applied Sociology.  Upon completion of her program and successful dissertation defense, LTC Matthew will begin her tenure as permanent professor at the Academy  (West Point).

She holds an engineering degree from The United States Military Academy (USMA) - where she simultaneously majored in Sociology -  and an MBA from Kansas State University.

In addition to being a doctoral student, LTC Matthew is a wife and a mother of 2.
