***I got a bit ahead of myself on this episode.  I thought we were a quarter of the way to 100 episodes, but this is actually episode 24!  Sooo close!**

Dr. Marissa Kiss earned her PhD in Sociology this past Fall (2020 semester) from George Mason University.  Dr. Kiss is a New York native who graduated from the University of Rhode Island and earned a mater's in Sociology from George Mason University.

In today's episode, Dr. Kiss gives some terrific advice on several ways prospective students can finance their doctoral studies, to include advice for those entering the job market or in the midst of a job change.

Her unique contribution to her field is FASCINATING!!  This relatively new mommy is a Major League Baseball (MLB) enthusiast who studied the sociology of sport.  She looked at immigration policy and how changes to policy between 1871 and today have facilitated or restricted immigration growth within MLB and how those changes impacted the ball players and the sport.
