Ryan Jennings:

Welcome to episode three of the provenance marketing show. I'm Ryan Jennings. And today we're going to go through a few more products that we've managed to find or be sent over the last week that are New Zealand made and are one of our businesses we support and look after. And the first for today, cause I'm a little bit thirsty right now is this product here it is a fine tasty beverage or at least looks the part, this is a company called vista drinks and vista drinks was formed by 3 20 something guys who wanted a better solution to fizzy drinks that they could be sure wasn't going to be wrecking their body with a whole lot of sugar and they couldn't find anything on the market that did it. So they employed a food scientist, got into the details of it. Everyone wanted to put artificial sweeteners in it. They said, no, that's not what we're after. And they came up with this product. So it's all about sparkling water and zero sugar, which is on trend right now. They come in a number of flavors. This is the one we've got today, which is the lemon one. So let me just open this up. Sounds good. Sounds good. Yeah. So it doesn't have that huge sugary hit that you would usually expect from a drink, but it's nice. Tasty. Yeah. Light, refreshing, good bubble size, from drinking champagne I know that's important. I'm not sure what they'd say about that. And on the back is the Kiwi trademark. So that is the place where consumers will turn to look at the nutritional information and also where the product is made. So we always recommend consumers turn the product around, have a look at what's on the back, and it seems to be working for them. So they've been growing at around 16% per annum. They've done hundreds of thousands of cans that are now sold in countdown and pack and save around New Zealand. So well done to you guys, Scott Day, Adam Sorensen and Russell Hooper. Awesome. Awesome work. So that's first up. Second is a puzzle, which has been produced by Rachel Clifford. She in fact does a number of puzzles and the role New Zealand's centric, so they have different scenes of New Zealand. You can get Omaru, Rotorua, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and inside the scenes of each of these, they're quite intricate scenes. So like this is the Wellington one. And if we look inside here, we can see people sitting in the stadium, there's a windsurfer out on the harbor, someone's kicked a ball out of the stadium. It's a whole ton of different things that, that you can see now for kids, there's a thousand different pieces here to put together. And if we open this up, let's see what we've got in here. Yeah. As you'd expect, you know, it's a massive amount of puzzle pieces and we just empty that out. Let's look at the quality of that. See so that's a hard piece of cardboard that's not going to fold in half, which sometimes you'll get on the cheaper puzzles so they won't last as long. And it looks like there's a nice coating of color on there too. It's a real sharp spotgloss finish. So Rachel does those from her website, sells them online from her home in Greytown. And you can get these at whatmakesnz.com. I'm going to give this one to my son. It's his birthday today. He turns nine. So I'm sure that this will be something that he can wrap his mind around and will keep them busy for at least some amount of time. That's the second thing. So third on the list is, I've been sent something by a company called time hub, which I don't know what this is yet. I've got an inkling cause it does feel book size. Open this up. Conversational marketing, how the world's fastest growing companies use chatbots to generate leads 24/7 365 and how you can too. So this will be interesting. So at the moment, although we've upgraded the New Zealand made website, we're looking at adding chat and making it easy to interact with potential customers, looking to put the Kiwi trademark on their business, both inside office hours and outside. Because sometimes the contact us form, I don't know, it's a, it's a put off. If you see that someone's online that can help you, then that sometimes is a, is a better way to get there. So thank you for this Steve. Steve runs a business called time hub and time hub is about reducing the complexity for time sheets and payroll management. So, I'll put the link up on the screen here, go and have a look at it. It's really good software and it's all made in New Zealand. He's not a licensed holder yet. So maybe after listening to this he will decide to apply. That is the product side of things. We have launched the podcast now. You can go and subscribe to that at the website, www.provenance.marketing that's provenance.marketing and very shortly it will be available on iTunes and Spotify, Stitcher, as well as Google Play. So all the different flavors. And before I finish up for today, there is a new article I've just written on mobile marketing and adding the Kiwi trademark to your company vehicle so that as you're driving around, you're using those four panels of your car as billboards. There's some great examples on this article from a number of the companies we represent, and there's even one from a concrete company who uses the trademark in a very large size, right on the side of that concrete mixer and the back. So I would recommend and encourage you to check that out. I said, that's it for this week. I hope you've enjoyed this episode, both of the audio podcast available at provenance.marketing, and on our youtube channel, youtube.com/buynzmade Thanks for listening and we'll see you next week for another episode.
