Today, Kaila Yu, author of the memoir Fetishized joins us to explore how Asian women are portrayed in the media. We discuss the impact of books like Memoirs of a Geisha and raunch culture from the 2000s, and talk about how much of the media we consume is internalized as women. We chat about how to ground ourselves in self-love instead of seeking validation externally.
