Amen. What we call the epitome, the embodiment of bringing people face to face with what could change their lives. Amen. If Jesus didn't think he couldn't change us, if he could not recover us, if he could not help us, do you not know he never would have came to the earth? I believe praise is in order tonight that we gotta give God a praise. Amen. That he did not let the mistakes of Adam and Eve keep him from coming to the earth, amen, to rescue the people of God. Amen. And so when you understand, amen, with this wonderful thing that we're involved in called the gospel, amen. God was known to change people, amen. For those that read and for those that do the history of our patriarchs and matriarchs, he was known to change people, amen, with the message, amen, and not just the healing touch from his hands, but his words had a way, amen, of transforming lives. Amen. This God that we know was known, if I may go on record, he changed two murderers. Amen. One was Moses, amen, who had, amen, the track record of killing an Egyptian, amen, got upset because it was actually coming against his fellow brethren, took it upon himself to take the life of an Egyptian. Amen. And we move into the New Testament and we find that the apostle Paul, who was known as Saul at the time, amen, had the issue, amen, of dragging people out of their houses, going into the courtrooms and testifying against the people of God and making sure, amen, that he was doing his part, amen, to kill people who believed on Jesus. And do you not know that when he, amen, uh met Jesus Christ, it was a testament, amen, that God can change any and everybody. I feel like preaching this thing tonight. And so I want to make sure that you have an understanding of the power of the gospel. Because Paul said, if any man, and I want to deal with that any man, he said, if any man be in Christ, in other words, he tells us it doesn't matter who you are, it doesn't matter where you are, it doesn't matter where God finds you, amen. He says, You have the ability when you meet me and you hear me speak, amen, to become a new creature, amen. And so we find those who have encountered the power of the gospel. Here's where I get in trouble, elder. Those who have encountered the power of the gospel was transformed. You remember, amen. It was that young wonderful liar called Jacob who had a throat to Damascus experience when he wrestled with the angel. And because he had an encounter, a divine encounter from heaven, the Bible says that the angel would touch his hip and would change his walk. Do you not know that that was a type of salvation? That God says that when you encounter the divine Holy Spirit, that I can change the way that you walk, and people will know that you're different because you have a limb. Come on, somebody. Amen. And so everybody that had encountered the power of the gospel, amen, was transformed. Amen. And they were not just transformed, but here it is right here. It just wasn't about the sinner's prayer, it just wasn't about confessing that the Lord was our Savior in Jesus Christ. But when they got transformed, they were put on a road, amen, to start conforming. Amen. To his ways, amen. And can I say this to you tonight as I stand boldly before the people of God, I will tell you, regardless of who you talk to, and regardless of who you listen to, regardless of who is in your house speaking differently and who you talk to on the job, I'm telling you there is no fault in God. But here's where I get in trouble. I get in trouble when I say this the fault is in us. Because the reason why God cannot change us, ladies and gentlemen, amen, is because of what we give him. Oh, look at somebody and say, honey. Oh, y'all not talking to us. Look at somebody and say, honey, you can't change because of your effort. Judas was the prime example. Ladies and gentlemen, he was the prime example that you can be in church and you can serve your local ministry, and yet you can serve, amen, God. Oh my God. Now I'm gonna go deep on this one. You can serve God, amen. And never get changed because you are serving God with no heart. You understand? I tried to figure out how in the world can you encounter the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. How can you encounter the man who spoke into the lake of Lazarus, into the grave of Lazarus, and watched a dead man come back to life? And we encounter the same God and we have not been able to change. And God says that it won't change because they're serving me with no heart. That is actually a heart problem. Amen. Because anybody that encounters God, and encountered his presence, help us, Holy Ghost, and encounter his word. Who meets Jesus and stays the same? Who meets Jesus and still lies? I told y'all not gonna like my teaching. Amen. So I wanted to lay the foundation tonight, bragging on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Bragging on his gospel, bragging on his presence. Because, ladies and gentlemen, we are in a day and time now where the credibility of the church is being attacked. People, amen, don't believe, amen, in the gospel because the written, or I should say, the living epistles are not showing change. And so it's imperative to stand before the people tonight to brag on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the system he put in place and the word, I should say, not the Rhema word, but the preserved word left behind. Amen. That is no fault in God. Now, if I'm in a church tonight, let's give God a praise because you are a part of something that has no fault. Now I want to clarify, amen, for those, amen, who have had issues in churches. Let me go ahead and talk about that. Uh-huh. I want to let you understand something that a messed up church and messed up leadership is no reflection on God. Because the Bible says, Amen, that the king's wrath is towards anyone that causeth him shame. And so we have to get a clarification to understand that you're going to have some messed up churches and some messed up systems. Can I say this tonight? No matter how much love we show and how much of God's presence is in the house, amen. The church is still going to have an issue. Because if you want a perfect church, let's just stop service right now and everybody go outside and leave the inside of the church empty. Then you're going to have a perfect church. But as long as you got people in the church, I wish you could look at somebody and say, There's going to be issues. There's going to be issues. But there's no fault in God because people have a tendency to want to blame God for humans. Amen, somebody. Well, let me move to the next phase of the class, amen, because last week we talked about dogs. Have you ever been a have you have you did you recognize any dogs after that class? Did you recognize any strays after that class? Huh? No? All right. Y'all didn't recognize. All right. Well, I want to move into the next phase and talk about no time for swine. Yeah, no time for swine. Yeah, I want to deal with that. Jesus continues his profound teaching. And y'all know he was profound to the disciples, amen. After breaking down the types of dogs. If you remember correctly, when we taught last week, we don't we dealt with strays. Because this is what he was actually emphasizing when he says, give not, amen, that which is holy to the dogs. He says, Don't waste your time, amen, with strays. And we gave you some of the qualifications of those strays because we said that one thing is they refuse amen training. The second thing is we says that they have, amen, the ability not to cooperate with nobody. Amen. No matter how amen cute the dog is, if it's a stray, it's not going to cooperate. And the third thing we say is that strays can be nasty. They can be very nasty. You can bring them into your circles and you find your carpet has been peed on. Amen, somebody. And so, amen. Jesus wasn't finished in this profound teaching as he's educating his disciples on the types of spirits that you have to deal with, amen, when you are ministering or at you're just actually living for God. Amen. And so he brings in another spirit, amen, to watch for, and that is the swine. He gives a strong undertone because he reveals to us, amen, and which you have to understand, the overall teaching of him trying to get the disciples to understand something, and that is this. He says, basically, when I'm telling you not to give that which is holy to the dogs, and do not give your pearls to swine, I'm dealing with, amen, the power of frustration. I'm dealing with the power of frustration. Because see, when you are dealing, when you move in frustration, amen, it is as a way of making you be delayed. When you are definitely frustrated, amen, then you're not really moving out of your spirit, you're moving out of flesh. And you're moving out of attitude because you have not learned how to deal with frustration. And so he's trying to teach his disciples that when you're ministering or when you are living for me, or when you're actually speaking on my behalf or moving, amen, you have to learn how to not be frustrated because frustration is going to cause you to move out of spirit, amen, where the spirit is what breaks the yokes, and it's going to cause you to move in flesh where it's going to be a confrontation. This is what he's teaching. He's teaching, amen, how to deal with frustration. And I want to just go on record tonight, amen, to say there's some of us in here who don't know how to deal with frustration. Oh, y'all done got quiet tonight. I tell you, not gonna like my teaching, amen. We don't know how to deal with, we get frustrated and we quit. We get frustrated and we want to tell somebody off. We get frustrated and we decide to leave and throw up our hands. Oh, I know I'm in the house tonight, amen. We don't deal with frustration, but let me help the ones in here who don't want to say amen tonight, amen. Let me help you something. Let me help you with this. Amen. The last individual who I know got frustrated and lost out because he could not handle, oh my God, amen. He could not handle, amen, what came with his assignment. And he ended up losing out on his promise was that of Moses. When the Bible says, Amen, he was told, amen, to do what? Speak to the rock. And he did what he do, he hit the rock, and it wasn't about watch this, it wasn't about amen at that time hitting the rock as God spoke to him, it was about him carrying the frustration. You understand, not clearing up, amen, your anger or animosity before you had to deal with God on an assignment. He carried frustration into the assignment and ended up doing something he wasn't supposed to do because the people pushed him. Oh God, okay. I don't know. Can I borrow one tonight? Look at somebody and say, Are you frustrated? Because you look like it. Ha ha ha. Yes, indeed. That's what he said. Moses. So I wanted to, he said, I'm trying to deal with frustration. And so Jesus reveals another hidden secret. If I can uh enlighten you tonight, he reveals another hidden secret because he teaches us. Now, here is where the frustration comes in at. Because we heard, amen, me say this a couple of weeks ago. Amen. And it was repeated again on Sunday morning. You heard it. And that is, Lord, you have to help me in this walk to give me discernment. You can see some of us don't have discernment. And so you go in, as said the entertainer say, he says that you know how minorities are. He said, No, he didn't say minorities, he said that other culture. When something is going on, they just walk right into trouble. There's no discernment. They just go in. Ain't that what he said? No discernment. And so we have to have discernment. Amen. And we have to pray and ask God for discernment because when you don't have discernment, here's what Christ is talking about. He says, because you're trying to bring something out of somebody that don't have it in the first place. Oh. Yes. Let me just go ahead and just break it down a little further. We try to make people be saved, try to make people love the Lord. Try to make people, amen, commit to the things of God when they're showing you it's not in them to be that way. And we will spend precious time trying to convince, amen, and trying to make and not discern that what you're dealing with don't have it. Has it ever come across your mind why Jesus used the terminology when he said swine and pigs? Pearls? Because what he's saying is, he's saying that what you have that is precious, you're trying to make something that's not going to see what you have as being what it is. You have pearls and you're trying to show something that don't even know what pearls is, that it's valuable. I wish I can talk to a church tonight that can understand, amen, that he's teaching discernment. Amen. You find yourself being frustrated, trying to make, oh my God, can I, can I, can I women, can I borrow women? Can I borrow women? Amen. How many women in here? I know I got a few of them in here. How many women in here have wasted time on a man who you tried to make love you and didn't love you? And you thought by opening up your legs, it got quiet, before you were saved. And you thought, amen, by cooking him something to eat that you could change when it really wasn't in him. Because the whole time, when you do the track record, he got seven baby mamas. All of them are mad at him because they all trying to make him be something he ain't. Oh, y'all done got quiet. Y'all done got quiet. Am I talking to somebody in here? And you really understand now I'm trying to make somebody love me that don't see I'm a pearl.

Am I helping somebody?

SPEAKER_01

You're helping us because he's talking about frustration. See, I made her walk out. He's talking about frustration. He's talking about being able to discern. And so you do not know that if we really had discernment, we wouldn't let pigs in the pulpit. We wouldn't be putting a man dogs in positions. You understand? And wonder why the church won't grow. Oh, this thing got quiet. Y'all gonna help me today? Y'all gonna help me today. This good, Desiree? You got a headache? I know, I can tell. Anytime you get a headache, your eyes squinch. Yeah, you're like a Chinese baby over there. Amen. Touch her, Lord. Touch her head, Lord. Touch her. We gotta get to a place when folks are sick and they still come. We just pray right there. Pray right there, right there. Somebody just say, Bless her, Lord. Bless her. Bless her head, Lord. Touch her right now in Jesus' name. By the time the service ends, amen, your head will be cleared. Praise God. That's how we're gonna move in here. So watch this. This is why he uses Amen pearls and swine. He says, Man, he says, these swine ain't gonna be able to look at your pearls. You're trying to make them see something that only you know you got. You understand? Now I'm gonna have to deal with these pigs. So I'm researching, I'm studying, right? And I'm thinking, see, y'all think I'm gonna go here about how they get dirty. But I found out the reason why they play in the mud, they don't have sweat glands. And the only reason why they get in the mud is that's the only way they can cool down. Oh, y'all done got quiet. Oh man. So the Lord says you're not gonna deal with that because see, everybody thinks when you talk about pigs, oh, they just go in the sloping the pig pen. But it's for them to go in the pig pen because when you can't cool off, as a matter of fact, some of you angry folk, you need to go sit in the mud. Cool off all the angry folks in the church. You need to go sit in the mud. Amen. I'm just playing with you, man. You know the Lord didn't touch you since then. I know, I know, I know. I'm not gonna hold you where you at, amen. So I had to I had to come another way. I said, Lord, you got to show me why are you telling the disciples and why are you comparing? Because you are a master parable teller, and you always, amen, use symbols when you teach. Why are you talking about these swine? Because I wanted to go to the mud. He said, You can't go to the mud. The first thing you want to mention to the class tonight is this pigs have 19,000 taste buds. Y'all didn't know that, did you? They had they have 19,000 different taste buds. And so when you equate that, look at this. The word tells us, oh, taste and see that the Lord is good, and blessed is the man that trusteth in him. So the reason why he's telling the disciples, you got to watch yourself dealing with these swine, he says, because they have all different types of appetites. And so you going and you talking to this individual about what you think you got that's gonna change them, and they're gonna sit there and listen to you and then gonna text everybody else. This is why he says, Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful, but his delight, there it is, is in the law of the Lord, and in his law, y'all gonna help me preach? He read, and so it goes it coincide. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good, and blessed is the man that trusteth in him. So the reason why you got to stay away from these swines, Peter, James, John, Salome, Jenna, amen, Todd, is because your word is not enough for them. They are going to go and they're gonna consult with somebody else. I had sisters in this church who wear my wife out. Not right now, they're gone now. Wear her out, calling her and talking to her about all kinds of stuff in their life, and when she drops a bomb, because she can drop them, when she drops a bomb, they don't listen. They'll go consult with somebody else because what she told them, first of all, is truth. And you know how we are with truth. When you tell somebody the truth, they don't want to hear that because it makes them have to confront amen and change. Oh, y'all done got quiet, y'all done got real quiet. Amen. And so they just want to just wear ears out. And so they are not satisfied, he said. He said, they're not satisfied with just hearing what you got to say. They're gonna actually take what you say and compare it to what others have to say until they get what they want to hear. 19,000, Elder Alec, good to see you, they boy. 19,000 taste buds. Can you imagine talking to somebody that they ain't ain't content with what you cook? Lord have mercy. We had a professional basketball player in Dayton who I looked up to. He ended up getting drafted by the Washington Bullets. But when he was poor at home, he spent a lot of time, amen. His mom cooked his favorite meal, something basic, meatloaf, and potatoes. Loved it. She cooked that. He'd come home from school. He played at the University of Kentucky. He'd come home, and mama would fix him his favorite dish. He would tear it up. He would tear it up, but he would tear it up. It was his favorite meal. And no, and he grew up poor. Then he got to the league, started making money. Amen. That means he was hitting them nice restaurants every night. Going to them five-star restaurants and getting, amen, meals you couldn't even pronounce. And eating those meals and, you know, plates, $100, and $200 plates and steaks that are this small but cost you $90. You know, and this is what he's eating. He's eating this every night because he's on the road all the time. They don't they don't eat right when they're on the road. They just out eating a whole night. So he comes back home, hey man, on a on a on a weekend sabbatical. They don't play. And he comes back home and his mama don't have much money. So she fixes his favorite meal because she knows that he loves, hey man, meatloaf, and potatoes. And when he saw what she put on that table, he pushed it off on the floor and said, I don't eat this mess. Because he had acquired a different taste bud. And forgotten about the one taste bud that got him to college. Jesus said, Don't waste your time, amen, trying to show something that's not gonna take what you have seriously. Can the church say amen? Yes, indeed. No time for swine, baby. Uh-uh. But I found this out too. I found this very interesting. I did not know because I thought pigs were dumb. I did. I thought they were the dumbest animal to sit back in the pit and just let yourself get slaughtered. You know, just gonna sit up in there and hear I'm gonna be baking this week. I'm just gonna let them come get me. But I find in my studies that pigs are highly intelligent. They are a very, very smart animal. And I said, Well, Lord, you know what? That makes sense because if they can't sweat, they know to get they know to go to the mud to cool off. They know where to get to to cool off. Ain't it a shame that pigs know to get to the mud? Watch this. God has assigned each animal and he has given them the characteristic to know where to go when they're in their needs. He gives the saints the Holy Ghost. We can't find our way to the church. Lord, have mercy. And so pigs are highly intelligent. And so, but here's the thing pigs are highly intelligent and they do things out of the norm. And I said, man, well Lord, what are you trying to say to me? I need I got to understand something. Uh pigs don't submit to nothing. They're intelligent. And they and they and they they don't they don't they do not cooperate. They travel in packs. They sleep on top of each other. And so I said, Lord, why are you saying this? He says, because when you're dealing with intelligent people, they don't know how to submit. And so the scripture says, accept that you change and become like a little child. Oh God. Mother Tober, I find that God is saying, it don't matter how old you are, it don't matter how long you've been saved, what I put in you should change you. And unless you become as a little child, now watch here's the danger behind this. Unless you have allowed me to change you and you become as a little child, here's the scary part. He says no man will enter into the kingdom of heaven. You can be so smart that you smart your way out of heaven. Sitting in service trying to figure out how the spirit is gonna move. You can be so intelligent, but here Jesus deal with the attitude he says that you cannot deal with an individual, amen, that never is able to submit. Can I borrow one real quick? Look at somebody say, Can you submit? Can you really? And and and I'm asking the ones that's come from broken environments who never had a man, a father or a mother to teach you how to submit. Uh-oh. You understand? Because your way of living is amen doing it your way. And it's hard when you have to try to watch this. It's hard when you can't submit to what you see. How do we submit to what we can't see? He's the only God that would not let a man, any of his leaders, depict a picture of him. Because he says, I'm not gonna contradict my word. Yeah, Confucius, you can draw, Buddha, you can draw. Amen. Dagon, you can draw, but you cannot draw me because you got to deal with me by faith. And I'm the only God that can carry you and you not carry me. I wouldn't serve a God that you gotta carry and put it down and burn the incense in front of. Yes, oh that's that's a danger. That's a danger. Can I borrow another one? Look at somebody say that's a danger. That's a danger. That's a danger. When you can't submit, that's a danger. He says, No man can enter into the kingdom of heaven. Oh, God. All right, and now I'm gonna say this. I'm about to get in trouble right here. Pigs are not only 19,000 taste buds and not highly intelligent, but they're very independent. Now, ain't that something when he says, Don't cast your pearls before independent people. I know, I know, I know. He says, I he says, here's what the proverbial writer says. The proverbial writer says that he says, To trust in one's own wisdom rather than God's guidance is the root to human struggle. He says, when we, amen, trust in our own wisdom, in our own knowledge. You know how we meet we we create our way. He says, when you trust in your own way rather than God's guidance, it's the root to human struggle. And so that says that the reason why many of us have struggles is because we won't forsake, amen, the way that's cursing us, which is our way. So if I was to quote a scripture tonight, I believe he reminded us in Proverbs when he says, We should trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not to your but in all your ways, and he will do what Lord have mercy. So it goes back to what I said in the second part when I said the reason why we cannot change because we're serving God with no heart. Yes, that's what he says. He says that uh Jesus eludes this, that this type are very independent. And here's the thing, here's what you know, and he says they will not change their routine. So now he's saying, stay away from these swine because they got 19,000, uh they're not gonna see your pearls. He says they're highly intelligent, but they're not gonna submit. And he says, and they're definitely not gonna change their routine because they get off on being a man independent because they think that that's being strong, they think that that's being strong, being independent, and God said, No, I need you to be codependent. Being independent got you to me. But if you're gonna stay with me, you got to become codependent and put a CO in front of the independent. And then that's when I can work with you. I'm glad it's quiet tonight. Now I'm about to get in trouble. I'm gonna borrow another one. Look at somebody and say, he's about to get in trouble. But I but I'm gonna enjoy getting in trouble. I'm gonna enjoy this one. I want to talk about something because when you talk about these pigs and whatnot, I found out something else. Amen. The sin of stubbornness. I wonder if I can just get three or four people in here that would just admit that you're stubborn. Oh God, I love this. Okay, okay. So I hope that what I say, and some of y'all didn't raise your hand, and you know you're stubborn, but you don't want to you want to be spiritual. You want everybody to see your heavy calling. I got an anointing on me. You still stubborn. Amen. So the ones that admit, I appreciate your transparency because see, I gotta be able to reach people when I'm teaching. Amen. And I want to just put something on your mind that'll make you want to go back to the altar and say, Lord, help me to correct this stubbornness. You know, I had to go back to the altar and have to correct my mood swings. See, I can be transparent here. I gotta sit in the front row like you, have a doctor's degree, and thank you all that in a bag of chips. I don't commit no sins. You know, I don't have to raise my hand, I'm not stubborn. You know, I want to let you know I'm transparent, preacher. I had a mood swing problem. I'm gonna tell you what happened. Growing up in a household where everybody had mood swings, praise God, I'm not bipolar. Because I start to think I was. Oh, this thing got quiet here. Alec, I love what you said today, baby. When you said that on that threads about that God and therapy, I'm that's what I'm talking about because this is therapy right here, baby. I know what you meant though, but I'm just saying, look, look, I had a mood swing problem, man. That was so bad. And this is what folk don't understand. When you don't fix yourself, you can mess up what God is doing. You understand? Because you don't want to fix yourself. Fool yourself. You want to fix yourself, you can mess up what God is doing because God is the author and finisher of our faith. And I told you last week, I said, God said in Proverbs, He says, I cannot do what I want to do in some people's lives because they refuse to organize themselves. He said, When you are disorganized, it prevents me from doing the perfect work I'm trying to do. Oh, y'all done got quiet. Uh-huh. Are you disorganized? Amen. And you're gonna be by yourself. Because God said, I am not going to do nothing through you because you scattered. You ain't got together. You're late to work every day, you're late to church, y'all done got quiet. This thing got real quiet. Y'all ain't got uh they're not smiling now. You know, uh-huh. Yeah, late to work, late to church, amen. Late cooking dinner, uh-huh, late calling your husband. Y'all done got quiet in here. Late taking the trash out. You understand? One minute you sing, I'm gonna get this thing right. And by Wednesday, you back in your old habit again. Disorganized. Then you wanna try to shout your way out of it, and God say, I'm not taking that shit out. Fix your disorganization. I mean the funny man, I'm gonna let you shout him and touch you, and you get the shot, and you feel it real good, and then he comes up with the word and say, Now fix yourself. And why are you shouting? He'll get in the shot with you and say, fix yourself. Fix yourself. You say glory, but you're here fixing that glory. He said fix. Y'all know I'm telling the truth. Can I borrow another one? Can I borrow off of you or your head feel better than what I can borrow off of you? Can I borrow one? Look, somebody say fix yourself. Fix yourself. I want to deal with the sin of stubbornness. All those that raise their hand, God bless you. I'm not trying to point you out, but transparent. Watch this. When you when you speak on dogs and pigs, there's a difference. There's a difference between the two. But watch this. When you deal with the two, it's the pigs that has the stubborn nature. And and so when you talk about stubborn, let me tell you, let me tell you what stubborn is. Stubborn is simply a strong refusal. It's defined as a strong refusal to change your mind, change your plans, change your behavior, even when God urges you to do so. Lord have mercy. Oh man. Ain't that something? When you you've been urged, you hear about it all the time. When I get to this last point, I'm gonna run up out of here because I because I trace something, and I don't want to get, I don't want y'all mad at me. But I mean I can fight, don't get me wrong. But uh look, stubbornness. Watch this. When you are stubborn, and y'all raise your hand, you will always resist godly advice or correction. I I call Cain to the testimony stand. Cain refused, didn't he? God stood in him, stood in front of him, Mother Tobert. First of all, you know God is awesome when he can hear Abel's blood cry from the ground. And then stand in front of you and give you the chance to repent and confess it. And there's no record of Cain ever saying he's sorry. As a matter of fact, he says, I'd rather leave the church than say I'm sorry. That's what he did, didn't he? Because the Bible says he left out of the presence of God, now resulting to have to live his life. Watch this, live his life naturally and not divinely. Because Cain went on to build cities. So you can't get a man anointing, a man twisted with talent because he walked out of the presence and still had his talent. That's why folk be leaving the church about, I'm still blessed. No, you're not blessed, you're just living off your talent. You understand? They'll try to make you think when he left, I left the church a long time, it didn't happen to me. Yeah, but see, God says, My grace is allowing your talent to provide for you. But when it comes to your heart being overwhelmed, and your heart will be overwhelmed, you have no rock to run to. Oh, God.

That's what he said. He said, Man, Cain refused.

SPEAKER_01

It resulted in him losing his place in God. You know what he says? You know, you know, you know what you say when you're stubborn and won't change. It says, when you're losing your place, all you have is self. And what you're telling God is is you're saying, Lord, I trust me. Yeah, all you folks have been talking on Facebook, I am she, I am he. Throw your hands up. I am he. I am she. I'm her. You got a lot of trust in yourself. Especially when Paul said in the flesh, and there comes a time when your what will call for your who. I love quiet tonight, though. You know, I'm not cutting the kill, I'm cutting the heel. Look, stubborn. You said y'all was stubborn. Stubborn person will always resist godly advice and correction. It don't feel good being told you was wrong on that one. You know, you it don't feel good being told, you know, you got some issues. Yeah, you know, try to tell you, man, what to do, and you just you get mad. Why you get mad? You know how folk do, these preachers, amen. They don't get a chance to preach. So they leave the church and go start a church. And just because they got a pastor title, they couldn't get above 10 members. But they're gonna stay with that ministry because I got the title, honey. Then come to your church after that church done failed and gonna try to tell you how to run your church. Oh, this thing got quiet. All right, I guess I'm on the wrong place. Y'all know I'm telling the truth, don't they? Stubborn. The pastor told him that sit down, you ain't ready yet. I'll never forget my bishop boy. He he came out one day because I thought I was something. And he said, he he walked past me, he said, You up. And I about crapped on myself. Right there in the seat. He came out, he picked up my spirit. He said, You up tonight. You gonna preach tonight. Man, I had I had to go both sides, front and back. I'm trying to hold it, like, Lord have mercy. And he looked down and he kept looking at me, and when it kept getting closer for me to get up, God knows my stomach was all messed up. It was out here. He came down there and said, Don't you ever sit in my pulpit and don't be prepared. And took the burden off of me. But I had to fix that. I had to fix it. Right. Amen. Amen, somebody. Watch this. Stubborn person. Y'all still here? All right. Well, always ignore warnings. I now leave Cain back to the grave and I call Pharaoh to the stand. Do you not know? He was so stubborn, it did not matter. I mean, the Lord physically and historically embarrassed that country. To this day, this country is not the same. Egypt is not the same for what God did to it. And didn't matter. It did not matter. Watch this. That there were 10 plagues that ran through that country and messed them up. It didn't matter. The Bible says after every plague, he hardened his heart. He was stubborn. It did not matter what was going on in that country. He was refusing to say he was wrong. And it wasn't until God told Moses, I'm getting ready to kill his firstborn. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna do it complete. I'm just not gonna get amen the liar, I'm gonna get the stiller too. Because when I come through there, I'm gonna deal with every piece of sin there is. So I want you to put tell my people, put the blood on the posts, right? And at midnight, when the death angel, when I releases him, Raphael, when you get when you go ahead, Raphael, you just start walking through and just start calling names out. And as you start calling names out, I don't want you to call the name of second and thirdborn, call the name of every firstborn. And when you call the name of every firstborn, amen, the firstborn of every animal is gonna die too. I'm gonna send a message. It wasn't until then he had a change of heart, but he was so stubborn, he went back to the stubborn way. You know why? Because when you don't, when you just refuse, when you just change your mind and don't change your heart, God will allow you to get around people who will give you bad advice. It's quiet. He will allow you to get around people that have bad advice. Honey, if that was me, I wouldn't take that. Oh Lord, don't say that. Who they think you is? You ain't no child. Y'all know what I'm at they're all giving bad advice. And so he sat there, refused to change his heart. He changed his mind for that moment, but didn't change his heart. Changed his mind only because he lost his son. Didn't think that maybe if I step back in that sturden way, now I might lose everything. That never crossed his mind. We never look at what the sin does. Later. We always think, oh, because he didn't do nothing now. I must be good. But there is a consequence that is tied to everything that we do. And so for those of that that say I'm not stubborn, I'm not changing. I don't care what you say, Bishop. I'm about to mess with you right now on that. Because I found out that Nebuchadnezzar was another stubborn person. Y'all hit the Nebuchadnezzar? Dude was evil. And he was very stubborn. But watch this, watch this. God says that if you're stubborn and you don't want to change your stubbornness, I am going to allow insanity to come over you. So you'll find that sometimes people who are stubborn have mind problems. Oh, this thing got quiet. Because what God did to him, his pride was so stinking in God's presence, God touched his mind and made him go temporary insane. Well, he was living with the wild animals and he was eating a man's grass like the oxen. Is it a possibility that stubbornness is tied to mind issues? And no matter how much medication you take, God said, When I'm behind it, though, I'm gonna let your mind run. I'm gonna let it take you places that you shouldn't even be. Why? Because I'm trying to change something. How many know that God will mess with you? Because if you belong to him, he will mess with us. He don't care. All he wants is repentance. And he'll do it any way necessary. Y'all know that? Yes, he will. Yeah, he says, Nebuchadnezzar, I'm gonna touch you, make you temporary insane. Had this man living with wild animals. He a king out there, man, with wild animals eating off the ground with the oxen. Because he did not want to admit he was wrong. But look at the grace of God. God didn't even leave him there. The grace of God, because when that man was able to get a little bit of his mind back, he had enough sense to repent. He said, Lord, I praise you because you are the God of heaven. We're talking about somebody who didn't have any relationship with God, didn't know him, didn't serve him, but he had enough sense that when the Lord gave him a little bit of inkling, he said, I'm gonna step in here and start repenting now. And God restore his mind and his kingdom.

SPEAKER_00

Pigs and dogs. That's what Jesus said. Don't fool with these swine. But make sure that you that you that you take this in consideration.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, I got done five minutes early. Amen. That's what he said. He said you gotta make sure. And so we have to make sure that we that we're not stubborn. Are you stubborn tonight? Are you stubborn? Are you are you the type of individual that says I don't change for nobody because your mama made you strong? Daddy made you strong. I don't change for nobody because we brians. You know how some families are, they get proud that we we brians. We don't bend and break for nobody. Yeah, we brians. Start calling out where you from. I'm from the west side. We don't we don't bend for nobody until you get into church. Because when you get into church, when you really submit yourself to God, he goes after all that stuff. And I just want you to know that you don't serve, uh, you don't serve a pass of God that says that, you know, I understand, I get it, I understand. He said, Come as you are. But for those three years, man, he put it on them disciples. He put it on them. He says, There are things about you, Peter. You think that you got it hidden. You think because you walked next to me, and I always have called you into the inner sanctum. We had the transfiguration, I called you. That's right. Amen. When we did, amen, uh certain things, I called you. You think because I have gotten you in the position next to me, I'm not gonna go after what you got. So there was one particular opportunity that Peter, who carried two swords, telling you, amen, he was violent and vulgar. Very violent and vulgar. He carried two swords. And the Lord says, I'm going to expose what you have hidden for three years. I'm gonna expose it only because I want you to fix it, because I have something special for you to do on the day of Pentecost. And they're gonna need to see that you fix that party. So Peter, amen, stands up in the midst and he says, Peter, he says, You're going to deny me three times. Prophecy at its best, not this stuff they're doing now. I feel I feel money in the room. Not not that kind of stuff. You know, this is accuracy. You know, got folk come by calling you, you know, you're gonna be a pastor. And then when it happens, see, I told you. They didn't believe it they sell. They just said it. You understand? They didn't believe it. And so uh Peter, he says, Are you gonna deny me three times? He says, But look, I'm not gonna throw you away. Because see, I've been I've been watching you for three years, and I've been seeing the things you need to fix. So watch this. Here's where I want y'all to catch. Catch this. I've been watching you for three years, and I've been seeing things you need to fix. So now I'm gonna manipulate a situation in your life that's going to expose what you've been trying to hide from me. And it's gonna be your responsibility to fix it so you won't delay yourself. So three years later, he exposes him by manipulating a situation. You understand? And he says, Peter, you're gonna deny me three times. And Peter says, I will never, there it is, stubborn. Uh-huh. There I will never deny you. I will go with you to the grave. And Jesus said, Man, you silly. But I want you to understand something. When y'all converted, he didn't budge with the stubbornness. When you're converted, strengthen your brethren. There's gonna be other people that's gonna be like you, that's gonna be walking and they're gonna be hiding stuff. And so Peter, stubborn as he is, stayed with the church. Stubbornness and all, call himself now, gonna follow from afar off. Like y'all to sit in the back. Y'all follow from afar off. As soon as something goes wrong, y'all leaving. He said, He says, I'm gonna go ahead and put you in a situation. So here it is. So they're standing outside. Jesus done been arrested. Hey man, wasn't you with Christ? No. You know why, don't you? Because see, death comes into play now. Death will have you turning on everybody. When you know you're about to lose your life, you are going to just throw this stuff in. That's why I don't understand why folk think they're gonna make it if they don't make the rapture. Tell me, I'm just gonna get my head cut off. You know how folks think if I don't make it on the first run, I'll get on the second one. If you ain't keeping up now, you're not gonna keep up then. You understand? You imagine putting your head down there, you're gonna be looking at them like I don't give it to me. And then some of us who can't wait to eat, you're gonna take the mark anyway. Because I need food. So he says, Peter, I'm gonna expose it, creates a situation, Peter denies him three times, and as soon as he denies him the third time, that bird started singing, and somehow one of the authors recorded that when Peter turned to his right to look, Christ was standing there with the handcuffs looking at him right in his face, like I told you. And he backslid that day, left the church. Now you understand why John recorded the fact that when he found out that he had resurrected, he knew forgiveness was gonna be in the house. He, along with John, ran down to the grave because he knew that God was gonna give him another chance to fix what he been hiding. Can I borrow another one? Somebody say, fix it. Fix what you've been hiding. Lord have mercy. God bless you tonight. Heaven smile on you. Pigs and dogs. God bless you. Now, immediately after uh service, after we take up the offering, all those leaders, I know you got the text today, those that got it. We want to meet up here in the front.
