Marcie Hawranik BA (Hons), MA
Marcie came from the international human rights field, working at the UN Human Rights Council, various NGOs, and for federal and provincial governments in Ottawa, Edmonton and Calgary. I have a Master’s degree from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University in international conflict resolution and have focused my consulting practice on gender mainstreaming, and creating inclusive, happy and high-performing workplaces that spark creativity and belonging in their employees, in all sectors.

Alicia Bjarnason PGeol, MA, CCIP
Alicia is passionate about enhancing innovation within the energy sector in Alberta and beyond. After 15 years as an exploration geoscientist, Alicia returned to school and received a master’s in Human Geography - with a focus on Feminist Geography, corporate culture, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Alicia won multiple awards during her time as a graduate student, including a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship and an Alberta Graduate Citizenship Award. Additionally, Alicia is a Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional through the Canadian Centre of Diversity and Inclusion. Alicia is also an active volunteer for groups such as AWSN, Operation Minerva and others within the STEM environment.
