The South Australian Premier’s NAIDOC Awards recognise the achievements of extraordinary Aboriginal South Australians who have made a significant contribution to the lives of Aboriginal people in this state.
In this segment, we hear from Nerida Saunders, a proud Murri woman from the Kamilaroi Nation. Tahlia Wanganeen, a proud Narungga, Kaurna and Ngarrindjeri woman who has been an advocate for her communities working as a lawyer and then moving onto strategic policy. Jeffery Newchurch is a Narungga / Kaurna man who was born at Point Pearce.
