Good morning and welcome to Fresh Mercy Podcast, where God's mercy is fresh for you each and every morning. Good morning and praise the Lord. We have another week of Fresh Mercy, and we're sponsored by LaCoste. Well, thank God. Praise the Lord. We have a new week, and I'm excited to announce that this whole week we have a bunch of guests. And the men that will be coming up is the men that do the teachings in the church. Like we talked about a couple weeks ago back. We spoke about the Bible study on Friday that Deacon Lawrence handles and my brother Angelo. Praise the Lord. And we have a bunch of young men that do an unbelievable job. And these men are also part of the equip class that John Zaro started. So we thank God for that. We have Sebastian, me and Donnie's nephew. We share a nephew. Now, this is our cousin Steve's son.
SPEAKER_02Just a shout-out to Steve. We love you. But we love your sons more. That's right. We thank the Lord for every man that's here. We thank the Lord for this whole week of podcasts because we know they're going to be led by the Holy Spirit. And I pray that as this new week starts, that everything that you guys go through, no matter what you face, that God is with you. And you guys remember that God's mercy is fresh for you each and every morning. So let this week be blessed, and Sebastian's gonna kick it off. Sebastian, are you ready? Hallelujah. Yes. No pressure. You're the first one to lead off.
SPEAKER_00Let everyone know there's a bunch of guys behind the camera. We're having a beautiful time in the Lord. It's great. No one talk. It's not your turn yet. Right. Come on, Bash.
SPEAKER_01Uh first off, I want to say I thank the Lord for this uh opportunity. It's a blessing, it's an honor. This podcast to me means so much. Not only did it just uh not just inspire me, it encourages me. Honoring the Lord. I know that it's when I need a word, when I needed a little encouragement to be built up, I know Fresh Mercy's there. Glory to God. I just click in and just if I'm driving, if it's the end of the day or the start of the day, I know it's there and it always encourages me.
SPEAKER_02And uh Sebastian, if I'm not mistaken, this actually uh inspired you to start your own podcast. Yeah, yeah. Very good. You want to say the name? Yeah, sure. It's a plug. Tell the plug.
SPEAKER_01It's called The Word in Season. It's on TikTok and Instagram. That's a fabulous name. Who named that? Uh Deacon Donovan. That's right. Uh yeah, this podcast totally inspired that podcast. Totally. Praise the Lord.
SPEAKER_02And uh, Sebastian, uh, all glory goes to the Lord. You're not the first guy to tell us that because of this podcast, other podcasts just came out. And that's nothing of me and Vinny's doing at all. It is all inspired by the Holy Spirit, it's all led by the Holy Spirit. So it's a it's an actual another way of ministry. So maybe if you're watching the podcast, you feel inspired or you feel led, just do the work and just put it before God and let God lead you. And I pray in Jesus' name that He does.
SPEAKER_00And Donnie, to say this, and I don't want to take away from Sebastian, but we talked in the early we talked earlier in the car how the podcast started, and I left something out I want to tell you guys. When the Lord showed me the podcast, he showed me that people's gonna do podcasts as well. Wow. So when we see people come up and do podcasts like this, it only shows me more that God is behind it. Amen. Because his word goes forward. So praise the Lord, Sebastian. Let's rock. Okay, one more thing.
SPEAKER_01One more novel. Uh we're in the book of John, starting off with uh a verse from here. And I want to talk about the Holy Spirit.
SPEAKER_00Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_01I want to give three facts, uh three characteristics about the Holy Spirit. And Jesus is talking to the disciples, and this is before the crucifixion, and he's talking about the ascension because they're scared. Before Jesus uh goes to do the ascension to go back to heaven.
SPEAKER_00Before the ascension.
SPEAKER_01Before the ascension, yes. This is after the cross. This is before the cross. Jesus is speaking to the disciples. Okay, and they're worried because Jesus is gonna leave them. Oh, okay. So they're a little scared. Okay, they're a lot of scared. Jesus is leaving them. John 14, 16, Jesus says, and I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper to be with you forever. Now the word helper here translates the eight translates the ancient Greek word parakletos.
SPEAKER_00I'm a parakletos man.
SPEAKER_01This word has the idea of someone called to help someone else, and it could refer to uh advisor, a comforter, a mediator, or an intercessor. We learned about that today. Romans 5.5. And this hope will not lead to disappointment, for we know how dearly God loves us because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with love. Thank you, Jesus. Ain't that something? Amazing. The Holy Spirit who dwells in us, who lives in us, fills us with God's love. That's a characteristic. The Holy Spirit will fill you with the love of God. Amen. Very good. Say that again, Sebastian. The Holy Spirit who lives in you, who dwells in you, will fill you with the love of God. And I want to read Acts chapter 9, 32. Another characteristic the Holy Spirit has. The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria. And it became stronger as the believers lived in the fear of the Lord and with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, and also grew in numbers. Thank you, Jesus. Now, the Holy Spirit is an encourager. I want to talk about this. I can't count how many times I counted on you men, the servants, the church to encourage me when I was down. I would pray that the Lord would send someone to pray for me or call me or check on me. I will depending on encouragement from others. Right. And I can't sit here and lie. You're proof. I told you I needed this call. What was it? A couple months ago? Yeah. You were always there for me. Hallelujah. But the Holy Spirit can give you the encouragement. Don't wait on man. Don't be like me. Very good. Go straight to the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. Yes. Amen.
SPEAKER_02Now look, the Holy Spirit does allow men to come up and to encourage. That's a gift from the Holy Spirit to be an encourager. Yes. But sometimes maybe that is not what the Holy Spirit wants from you. Maybe that's not what God wants from you. He wants you to encourage yourself in the Lord through the power of the Holy Spirit.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. With the love that He gave you in your heart. Amen. That you could be encouraged with that. Amen. Very good, Master.
SPEAKER_01Now we're in Romans 8.26. And this verse means a lot to me. And I'll explain why after I get it. Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know what to pray for as we ought. But the Spirit himself intercedes with us for us with groanings too deep before words. Like I said earlier, the the word that Jesus decided, the helper, translates intercessor. Yeah, intercangles. What does that word mean? That word, an intercessor, is a person who pleads or prays on behalf of another. Very good. Very good. So I want to say this. I know what it feels to be on the other end of that screen, discouraged, hurt, lost, not knowing what to do. If you're just beginning your day, if you're having anxiety, if you're suffering from something, if you need a healing or something, and you have no more words to pray. The Holy Spirit will pray for you. Hallelujah. All you have to do is stand there and let the Holy Spirit pray for you.
SPEAKER_00Hallelujah. Sebastian, the scripture says that we don't have words to pray. Yes. Sometimes our heart and our life is in a situation where we don't have the right words to say. That even when you try to say a word, you start to cry. Because we get in bad places like that. Well, the promise that we learn in the scripture as the Holy Spirit is the helper, the ins uh how do you say that word? Intercessor. Intercessor. He is there to plead before you. So if Sebastian can't speak, I'll go before and say, I'll speak on Sebastian's behalf. So the Holy Spirit does that. The Holy Spirit says, I'll speak on Sebastian's behalf. Lord, he needs this, he needs that. He's going through this. That's what the Holy Spirit does for believers. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Amen. What a characteristic of the Holy Spirit, huh? Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Because He's the helper. He is the helper. Today, if you need help and money can do it, someone can do it, vacation can do it, a lot of things can do it. Nothing can do it. Only the Holy Spirit.
SPEAKER_02When I was facing something and heavy on my heart, heavy on my mind, it's easy for me to go and pray for someone that's in a problem. Because okay, I'm being led by the Holy Spirit and I'm praying for him. But when you're in that storm, when you're in that problem, sometimes you don't got the right words. I can pray for you until I turn blue in the face. But when it comes to me, when it comes personal, sometimes it's hard. Well, that's when the Holy Spirit steps in. Amen. And he prays on our behalf.
SPEAKER_00Amen. Sebastian, I have a question for you. Truly, this scripture, Romans 8, 26, what does it truly mean to you? Give us what it means to you and then pray us out.
SPEAKER_01Like I said, I know what it feels like. Come on. And it's hurting. Sure. It's hurting you. You don't know what to do. You're lost. And when you guys called me on the show, I knew this is where I wanted to go, this area, because as a viewer, like I said, I would come on when I'm discouraged almost. And you guys would always have a word to encourage. Well, the Holy Spirit is an encourager. That's it. He's an helper. He prays for you. And most importantly, he fills you with love. Thank you. And he's right here always. He lives inside of us. Amen. So what's it a gift from God? So what's your word for the viewer today? The word for the viewer is this. If you're either just starting your day off, or maybe you're going about your day, you're in the car, or maybe you're just about to end your day. The Holy Spirit, who lives inside of you, is a helper. He'll pray for you, he'll encourage you, and he'll fill you with God's love. Praise the Lord.
SPEAKER_00Amen. Well, we thank God for this work from the Lord. And if you need help, you know where to find it. That's the Holy Spirit. Amen. Sebastian, can you pray for the viewers today and pray for everyone's day today? Of course.
SPEAKER_01Lord, I give you glory, honor, and praise. Devla, I thank you, Devla, for Deacon Vinny and Deacon Donnie, Mogodel. I thank you for this podcast, Mogodel. I pray that you continue to use them in Jesus' name. And I'm praying for the viewer now, Mogodel, that you bless them, Devla, throughout their day, Mogodel. I pray that you give them, Mogodel, the Holy Spirit to help them, Mogodel, to encourage them, Devla. I pray that you fill them with your love, Mogodel, through the Holy Spirit. And I pray that the Holy Spirit will intercede for them, Mogodel, if they need it, Devla. That you bless them, Mogodel. In Jesus' holy name I pray. Amen. Amen.
SPEAKER_02Well, that was the podcast for today. Tune in for this whole week. We're gonna have a uh four other men that's coming up to share the word of God. Amen. Have a blessed day. We love you guys. God bless.
