Last week we had uh a lot of the young men that came up and did absolutely beautiful jobs with the teaching. And this week we have our brother in Christ. This is Dinkin Lauren's son. This is Barry. Uh first of all, I want to thank God for my two big brothers. We love you, Barry. These men, I truly look up to them. They kill me, and I take it.

But today, we're gonna be talking about um in Mark a man where his friends brought him to Jesus and he was deaf. So we're gonna start off uh verse 32, Mark 7, verse 32. A man with a speech, a penement, was brought to him, and the people begged Jesus to lay his hands on the man to heal him. So we see here these men, uh Vinny and Dani, they bring uh this man and Devla, please heal him. Have mercy on him.

They're requesting this from him, and this man needs a healing. This man has a serious issue.

Yeah, but they went to the right place. I'll say that. Absolutely. They went to the healer. They went to Halloween. Hallelujah.

Well, they most likely they probably went, guys, to doctors, probably went to specialists, and they came to Jesus. They came to the right doctor to Jesus. Very good. So let's go to verse 33, and look what Jesus does. Jesus led them, led him away from the crowd so they could be alone. Jesus put his fingers into the man's ear, then spitting on his own fingers, he touched the man's tongue, looking up to heaven, he signed, and he said, Yeah, a fata, if I'm saying it right.

Shut up. Instantly, the man could hear perfectly and his tongue was free and he could speak plainly. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Praise the Lord. But I have a question for you guys. Why did Jesus use this method?

What we see in other verses and in other books that Jesus laid hands, that he just even spoke his word. So why did he use this? Don't worry, your servants healed that home. Yes, sir.

Yeah. You know what the thing is? He could have even thought about it. All he had to do, uh, Donnie, was touch, just touch a little bit of his clothes, a little bit of his garment. The man's now been healed. Because also, in John 9, verse 6, it says, for a blind man, he spat on the ground and he made some mud with saliva and put it on the man's eyes. Also, there was a woman who had an issue, and she broke through the crowd to get to Jesus and she touched his garment. So look at the power that Jesus had. The hem of his garment. The ham of his garment. Jesus used this remedy. Jesus used the mud of the earth and he used spit to heal this man. Also, why did Jesus use this? He used this. And also he could use uh Donovan Vinny, he could use a doctor, he could use uh medicine, he could use a therapist.

He could use a surgery, you can use whatever.

He can listen, Jesus Vinny, could he could do divine healing. This is what he is, this is the power this man has.

Very good though, there but he used an earthly remedy. He chose to use a form of medicine. Absolutely. So today we we say that or we pray to the Lord, but if a person's sick, should we say, oh, don't take medicine or don't go to a doctor? No, because there's extreme belief out there, there's extreme charismatic belief that says that, well, if you go to doctors and if you take medicine, then you don't trust in God. No, that's not what we're saying here. What we're saying is that yes, can God heal instantaneously? Absolutely he could. But he chooses to use medicine, he chooses to use doctors, he chooses to use hospitals. How do we know that for sure? Because he used different remedies in the Bible to show that this is how he works.

Very good. Well, maybe I have a word today for the viewer. Come on. For whoever's watching. Maybe today your son or your daughter is has speech delay. Maybe today they're they're not hearing. Maybe today they're not eating the way you want them to eat. But know that God is the God who uses medicines. He uses doctors the same way he used the mud, uh, the same way he used the spit, is the way he's gonna use that therapist, is the same way he's gonna use that doctor. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, God. Know that he's going to do this because he's the creator of these things, he is the creator of the world, he is the creator of the medicine. Amen. Amen. So let's go down a little more to verse 36. Jesus told the crowd not to tell anyone, but the more he told them not to, the more they spreaded the news. They were completely amazed and said again and again, everything he does is wonderful. He even makes the deaf to hear and give speak and give speech to those who cannot speak. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. I want to give my testimony. Do your thing. I want to give my testimony. For everyone who knows, my son is uh baby LD baby Lawrence. And thank you, Jesus. This week we had a fantastic week. Amen. And uh about he was about a month old. Uh we took him through all the different doctors in Daniel, and we took him through big hearing tests, we went to Manhattan, we went to the biggest doctors there was and he was diagnosed with death. And great, it was me and my family was crushed. I could speak to myself, I was crushed. Completely deaf. Completely deaf with no hearing on both ears. And whoever knows this, I was with them every night, it's John and Sebastian. I'm frustrated, I'm I'm I'm over everything. There's nothing I could chance to do with it.

And and who would blame you at that moment to be frustrated, to be worried, to have any kind of anger. It's nothing happening.

Right. So we took him to a doctor and they put him on hearing aid spot, it didn't work. And at the time, we just got done, and my my brother Robert's baby Joshua.

Yes, so at the time my family was going through a lot and was frustrated.

So as the months went on, we went to doctors, doctors and doctors and doctors, non-stop doctors, and they said that he could do a cochlear implant. Uh this is something that goes this is something that goes on the inside of the ear, and after he does the surgery, it's a five, six hour surgery, he could put something on the outside as well. So it's like uh similar to a hearing aid. Very good. So as the the months went on, the first surgery was scheduled to get canceled. Oh god's timing. Second surgery, it canceled. Okay, what's going on? I can't get this guy to hear, right? Very hard. So as as the month came up, which was two weeks ago, right? About two weeks ago. Yeah, about two weeks ago. Uh his surgery. Surgery was five, six hours. Thank you, Jesus. Everything went fantastic. Hallelujah. And we went two days ago and we put on the other piece so we could start hearing, and they activated them. And I give all glory to God. I give him all the glory, honor, and praise. Thank you, Lord. That he used those hearing aids, he used that surgery as the mother. Hallelujah. He used the surgery, he used the doctors as the mother. And I give all God all glory, honor, and praise. Thank you, Jesus. Awesome. Viewer, whoever's watching, whoever has an issue with your child, as long as you get up every day, God has mercy for you and your family.

As long as you get up every day, God has mercy for you and your family. Hallelujah. Every day is a day closer to your kid's healing. Amen. Because look what it says in uh Psalms uh 30, verse 5. That there will be tears in the night, but the joy comes in the morning. Hallelujah. It don't say the next morning, but there is a morning coming. My morning was two days ago. Hallelujah. I give God all the Lord. Jesus did this many years ago for this man. And he did it for my son.

He never stops. The same Lord. It's the same God. He's the same today, he's the same forever. It's just that Hebrew. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Christ is the same.

It's the same yesterday, today, and forever. Thank you, Jesus. Read that again. Watch scripture and read it again. Hebrews 13, verse 8. Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hallelujah.

Praise the Lord. And I want to say this, which nothing could be added, to that awesome testimony that you gave to show that Jesus still heals today with medicine. When Jesus went to the gajol and he went and he touched his ears, it said he sighed. And that sighed means this. Praying for your daughter, your son, your grandbaby. Jesus knows the issue you have. Jesus knows that you're trying your best. And he's sighing with you. And he is interceding for you, praying on your behalf. And like we learned last week that the Holy Spirit gives you the strength when you're weak. When you're sighing, he's there standing for you, holding your hands up, praying. And he is for you. You gave the unbelievable scriptures, which is above all, you got a personal testimony for it. And we thank God for LD. And I don't know if he was gonna say this or not, but I'm speaking this. Deacon Lawrence, the day that they got this news, the baby was uh month old, two months old, no? And the family's devastated. Barry and his Mrs. Paris and the whole family are crying outside. And Lawrence looked at them, the deacon, and he said with fate. He said, Guys, on LD's birthday, he's gonna hear you guys sing happy birthday. And when is the baby's birthday? Baby's birthday is June 3rd, which is a month. So a month from now, when they sing happy birthday, the baby's gonna hear that beautiful song. Thank you, Lord. Uh Barry, give a final word to the people and close us out in prayer.

They have a child, devil, with an issue, devil. I pray, devil, in Jesus' name, that you bring healing, devil. Devil, I pray, devil, in Jesus' name, devil. Whatever the issue is, devil. Devila, if it's speech delay, devil. If it's an eating disorder, devila, devil, if it's not hearing, devla, devil, you know the situation, devla. Give them faith, devil, in Jesus' name. And I pray, devla, in Jesus' name, that you would watch over us, protect us, and bless this week in Jesus' name. Amen and amen.
