Good morning and welcome to Fresh Mercy Podcast, where God's mercy is fresh for you each and every morning. Hallelujah. I don't want to say the days no more because last time I'm. Well, thank you, God. Uh, this Thursday, and we thank God for the podcast. Uh, yesterday, Deacon Frank did an awesome job on talking about how to overcome temptation. There's only one way, it's knowing the scriptures. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Through the word of God. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Jesus showed us that example. Because, like we learned, he could have just done this and Satan would have been done. But because Jesus was a hundred percent man as well of being a hundred percent God, he showed us how to overcome. Great job, Deacon Frank. This unstole Frank's whole teaching.

SPEAKER_00

If they never watched it, they don't have to go back. It's over. Well, that's how good it was.

SPEAKER_01

That we explained it again. Praise the Lord. Phenomenal job. Thank you, Jesus. Well, Deacon Donnie is sharing the word today. Take it away. Amen. I like that word. I'm gonna do that for now.

SPEAKER_00

Take it away. Uh we're gonna talk today about unbelief.

SPEAKER_01

Make dude.

SPEAKER_00

Why? Uh we're gonna talk about unbelief and how your belief and your unbelief can amaze God.

SPEAKER_01

Well.

SPEAKER_00

So really it should have been titled How Do You Amaze God? What's your belief or your unbelief? Fabulous. So I want to go to Mark chapter six, verse one through four, and we're gonna read and we're gonna explain.

SPEAKER_01

I'm a marked man.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we just hunted 16 weeks of it. Jesus left the part of the country and returned to his uh returned with his disciples to Nazareth, his hometown. So Jesus is going to his hometown. That's beautiful. It's like if I move away and I come back to New York, it's good. Alright, I'm going to see all my friends or my family. Gotta eat my fabulous food. When you're home, when you go home, it's phenomenal. Now, if you guys don't know, I've been traveling a lot. I've been uh going to a lot of Gava and seeing a lot of towns, and I go there and I want to see what they have to offer. I want to see what kind of gaget they are, I want to eat their food. Sure. Yeah, Google sightseeing. But I'm always excited when I come home because I know I'm going to my friends, I'm going to my family, and I'm going to go eat the certain foods I like. No place like home. There's no place like home. So Jesus is returning to his hometown. The next Sabbath day, he began teaching in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed. Okay. They asked, Where did he get all this wisdom and all the power to perform such miracles? So now Jesus is teaching, and they're amazed. They're colour, hold on a second. Where did he get all this from? Where did he get the knowledge to teach like this? Where did he get the ability to go and do miracles because he didn't do it before? It's mind-blowing for them. Then they scoffed. He's just a carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of James, Joseph, Judah, and Simon, and his sisters live right here among us. They were deeply offended and refused to believe in him. They refused. So they scoffed and said, Hold on, isn't this a carpenter? What's so special about him? We know his whole family, we know his vita, we know his people. Are you ready for this? This is what stuck out to me. Everywhere in the Bible you see uh Joseph, the son of Jesse, or uh King David, the son of Jesse, and they always go by the father's name. Why they never said over here? Ain't this Joseph's son? Donna, I never seen that. Why didn't they why did they do that? Devil yet they said, Mangante poked in. He's a carpenter, he's a son of Mary. Joseph probably died at a young age, and they knew him. Okay, that's Mary's son. But the whole point is this Mangante poked in. Hold on, this is just a carpenter. This is Mary's little boy. What is he what does he think he is? That's what's going on here. Jesus is going all over the world, all over excuse me, all over the areas, preaching and teaching, synagogues, miracles, and he comes home, and everybody hates him. They thought he was just a normal guy. They thought it was just a normal guy. Yep. And they were offended about the way he was doing things. Then Jesus said this. Then Jesus told them, A prophet is honored everywhere except in his home town and among his relatives and his own family. So D. Jesus went home to go and do something. He went to go pray with people, and you know what happens? What the Bible records? That he couldn't do any miracles other than lay a few hands on a few people to get healed. It prevented and stopped and hindered the work of the Lord in Nazareth. Absolutely. The Bible says because of their unbelief, Jesus couldn't do what God called them to do. Very good. They couldn't be a part or they couldn't experience what God had to offer because they didn't believe in Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

Going to people, preaching and teaching, healing, raising the dead, touching people that couldn't see the sea, and they couldn't see that because they had unbelief.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I'm gonna ask you today do you have unbelief in your heart?

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_00

When you look at Jesus, do you say to yourself, Well, yeah, he's Jesus, but I don't know, what's special about him? If you're asking that question, or maybe you're asking the question of, I know he's capable of doing it, but will he do it for me? Or maybe you're going through a situation, man, this is too big for Jesus. Any kind of unbelief will hinder the plan of God for your life. Unbelief is unbelief. Unbelief in God is unbelief. That's it. And know what they said? The Bible goes out of its way to say that they refuse to believe in Jesus. Yeah. They did not accept it. Maybe today, without you realizing it in your heart, maybe you're refusing to believe Jesus. Well. Let's look at the effects of unbelief. Number one, it'll keep you from pleasing God. The scripture is clear, Angelo. It says that without faith, you cannot please God. And what is faith? Faith is belief in Him. If you have no faith, how are you gonna please God? Number two, unbelief will produce fear and anxiety for lack of trust in Him. Unbelief will produce fear and anxiety in your life. Phew, we're good with that. Number three, it'll weaken your prayer life. Maybe because you don't have that much faith in God, you're not going to him as much. Maybe you're not going to him and saying, Lord Jesus, please take this away. Maybe your lack of faith is preventing you from that. Unbelief here hinders God's plan in your life. And number five, it leads to self-reliance.

SPEAKER_01

Relying on yourself.

SPEAKER_00

You're relying on yourself rather than relying on God. You're relying on yourself rather than relying on the Holy Spirit. Uh verse 12 through 13. So the dis So what we're gonna fast forward. So now Jesus goes and he tells his disciples to go out there and preach and he sends them out two by two. And look what he says. So the disciples went out telling everyone they met. I'm sorry. The disciples went out telling everybody that they met to repent of their sins and turn to God. So Jesus gives an illustration. Look what he says. Alright, look what you're gonna do. Go to this town, don't take food, don't take a walking stick, don't take nothing. He says, only take a walking stick and the clothes on your back and your sandals. He tells them, Don't take food, don't take water, don't take money, don't take nothing, just go and do the work. So they went and they did it. So the disciples went and telling everybody, and look what it says. And they casted out many demons and healed many sick people and anointed them with olive oil. Jesus went to a town, he went home to his hometown and couldn't perform any miracles because of lack of faith. But look what fate produced in the believers that Jesus told them to go do the work, and they had enough faith in him that when they went, miracles took place. The sick got healed and people turned to God. Amen. Come on. Look at the don't look at the unbelief in the town of Nazareth, but look at the belief in the disciples. Very good.

SPEAKER_01

Fantastic.

SPEAKER_00

When you have faith in God, you can do all things. Very good. When you have faith in God, you're opening up your life to God using you to do his work. Hallelujah. What a true believer should look like. Come on. A true believer pleases God. It's the opposite. He pleases God. She pleases God. They have complete faith and trust in God. They have a strong prayer life. They walk in the will of God and they rely on the Holy Spirit. It is complete opposite. Unbelief and belief. Unbelief in your life will stop these things, but true belief in your life will make these things grow.

SPEAKER_01

And we need more growth. Amen. We need more growth and fate. We need more growth to see these things. And Jesus was amazed because they didn't believe. But then there was a Gajo, Donnie. I don't know if you're going there or not. No. It's over. There was a Gajo Saturian soldier. You call me off a and he said, Jesus, I know you have the authority because I have I'm a man of authority too. Just send your word, Jesus, and he'll be healed. And it says that Jesus was amazed at his fate. Amen. So, like earlier you said, how are you amazing Jesus today? Are you is Jesus amazed that you have faith? Are you amazed because you don't have faith? I always want to amaze Jesus from faith. Donnie feels the same. Everyone should feel the same. If you don't, there's something wrong. You should want Jesus to be pleased with you and happy. And we should want Jesus to say, I'm so amazed at their fate. I'm proud of my son. I'm proud of my daughter. Let's make him proud and let's believe. Let's not have lack of faith. Jesus went to his hometown. They treated him common. Let's not treat Jesus common no more. Amen. No more.

SPEAKER_00

Amen. So we're as we're going to close out this episode. I want you guys to pray with me and pray with me this. Pray that you guys want to walk in faith.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_00

Pray that you guys want to believe in Jesus. Pray that you guys want to say, Well, I don't want to delay God's plan in my life anymore because of unbelief. Pray with me in this prayer. Amen. Let us go before the Lord. Heavenly Father, we thank you for your grace, your mercy, Mogodad. Holy Spirit of God. I pray that you would minister this message right now to the person that's listening. Let them realize, Father God, that you, Mogodil, are in full control. And let them realize to rely completely more on you. Let us have complete faith in you, Mogodil. We want to see miracles in our life. We want to see miracles in our friends and our family's life. We want to see, Mogodad, the miraculous take place. We want to see the sick get healed, Mogodil. We want to see people repented, Mogodad. We want to see the word preached, Mogodil. And all this is possible when we have faith in you, Mogodad. So Lord, I pray, Mogodad, for the man and woman that's listening, that's down in their faith, Mogodil. Let this word build them up, Mogodil. They can do all things through you, Mogodad, when they rely on you, Mogodad. So Lord Jesus, I pray right now, through the power of the Holy Spirit, that they would have more faith in you, that you are able to do all things, Mogodil, and they are able to go through anything when they are relying on you. In Jesus' name, Amen and Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Amen. Praise the Lord. Donnie, awesome job. Nothing to God. Let us walk by faith. We love you. We thank God for you. We'll see you tomorrow. God bless.
