Good morning and welcome to Fresh Mercy Podcast, where God's mercy is fresh for you each and every morning.
SPEAKER_00Good morning, everybody, and welcome to the Fresh Mercy Podcast. We thank the Lord that it is Friday. This is the last episode of the week. And we thank God for all these messages. Uh, these uh podcasters that came up. We thank the Lord for Deacon Frank. He'd done an unbelievable job. If you guys uh go back and watch that episode, and I'm very pleased to say that my favorite guy in the world is with us today. This is, if you guys don't know, this is Angelo Dew. This is Vinnie Dew's little brother. And uh he's my little brother too, and I love him very much. And we thank the Lord that he's with us today. Uh Angelo, how are you feeling about the podcast, bro?
SPEAKER_02I love it. Yeah, I'm a very big fan of the podcast. I'm actually talking about the podcast today. Oh my god. So whenever you guys are ready, let me know.
SPEAKER_01Uh do you know Angelo is so fast. Not so fast. Uh Angelo is the first uh guest that we have a recurring guest. Because Angelo came out in season four or five. Yeah. Really, you OG was season one, you came on one time, but those seasons are I think I talked like for like twenty minutes.
SPEAKER_02You guys hated me. It was too long. Yeah, it was long. Well, we hope you don't do that today. I kept looking at the clock as well. So praise the Lord.
SPEAKER_01Angelo, do you have a word uh from the Lord for a second?
SPEAKER_02Amen. Amen. I believe it is a word from the Lord. Amen. Uh, you guys approached me a couple days ago uh talking about to come for the podcast, and I'm praying, and it came to me because you guys named the podcast Fresh Mercy from one scripture. And we all have been hearing the scripture, the boys read it every Wednesday about his mercy is fresh every morning. And this is a morning program. Do you know how holy our morning is supposed to be? We see throughout the scriptures how Jesus early rises early in the morning to pray. There's so much praise towards mornings. It's a beautiful, holy thing to wake up with the Holy Spirit and reading this scripture, knowing that you have God's mercy every day for you, each morning. So I thank God for you guys for this bookie that you guys are doing uh for so long with so many seasons, uh, talking about every morning to have God's mercy, and you guys are bringing God's word to so many people that maybe it's difficult for them in the morning to pray, maybe they didn't have time to read the Bible, and then they could put on their phone the podcast and they could hear God's word.
SPEAKER_00Angelo, the the goal is for a person that maybe is a little brigie me in the morning, or when they wake up, they have a million problems or a pressure, and hold on to shut up. They have a a lot of things going on in their life that they just can't wake up, yeah, go to prayer, and go to the word. A lot of people have that issue, so that's the reason why this podcast exists that you're nailing it right on the head because we want to get let people know as soon as they wake up, let everything aside, put everything away, and put God first. Hallelujah. Amen.
SPEAKER_02So today I want to talk about what you guys have been talking about this scripture for so many years, the benefits of God's mercy in the morning. There's a benefit to his mercy. We always hear about God's mercy. What is the benefit of having God's mercy fresh for you every morning? This is Psalms chapter 30, verse 5. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime. Thank you, Jesus. Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. When the morning comes and you have God's favor, you will have his joy. Thank you, Jesus. His joy. There's nothing that everlasts God's joy, there's nothing that compares to the joy of God, and this is what you receive in the morning. And look what it says over here for his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime. Look what I wrote down. He is our judge that has everlasting mercy. We have a rightful judge that has mercy for us every day. His anger only lasts a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime. And look what it says weeping may last true to night, but joy comes in the morning. So his anger lasts a moment, and it's saying that your weeping will only last a moment, also.
SPEAKER_00Very good. The negative part is only a moment, but the good part is forever.
SPEAKER_02Amen. And this is what we receive God's mercy in the morning. You receive his joy. Very good idea. Now listen to this, and then we're gonna go to our next verse. I'm only gonna share a couple verses. Take your time. Many people take the scripture and make it backwards. And what does that mean? It says, weeping and tears will be at night, but joy will be in the morning. Many people take it as joy is at the night, and weeping is in the morning. And I'll tell you what that means. Many people live in sin, they they live in depression, they live in whatever and they enjoy themselves.
SPEAKER_00All their joy comes in the nighttime.
SPEAKER_02All their joy comes in their nighttime. But in the morning, when they wake up and they realize they're weeping, and they lose their joy, they lose their happiness, and they lose scripture. How are you living this scripture? Are you living it backwards that all your joy comes from nighttime? Whatever you do, you'll enjoy yourself at night, but in the morning you're guilty and you have regretted. What did I do? Uh why am I living this life? But no, I can't believe it. This scripture is talking about. If you have conviction at night and you have a parimos, and there's a moment in time that you're going through something, a sickness, you know in the morning that God's mercy is new for you.
SPEAKER_01Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_02And you could have his joy. That's what God promises us. Joy that's everlasting in the morning. So don't live anymore having fun at night, but in the morning you're weeping and you have tears.
SPEAKER_01Very good, Angelo.
SPEAKER_02If something's going on at night, if you're depressed or aggravated, God will bring you joy in the morning.
SPEAKER_01Unbelievable. Oh, I heard a pastor say this one time. He said, We don't know how to start our days with the Lord, but we know how to end our night with him. So we go about our day, not praying, not talking to God, not worshiping, not putting music, nothing to do with God. But then at night, we say, Okay, God, what was this day about? You weren't with me. So we know how to end our nights with God, but not to start the day with him. But Angelo, that was a revelation. How are we living the scripture? Are we getting up with joy? Are we getting up with tears? And then nighttime comes joy. You know what nighttime? Nighttime is pleasing your flesh. Nighttime is walking in the world, nighttime is walking in darkness, nighttime is not following Christ, it's following yourself. How are you walking? How are you living this scripture? Yeah. And you said something about a judge, God being a merciful judge. I had to go to court one time because I got a ticket. It was Angelo's fault. Remember that? Yeah, with the license plate. But hey, he had a license plate cover and it said Angelo Dunali. Yeah, it was fabulous. So I decided. No, I'm not this guy. I'll drive. As soon as I've drive, boop, boop, pull over. Yeah, you're blocking New York and all that. You're playing. But Vinny never drives. He's not the guy to drive on a setting. I don't even know why he was driving. I don't know why I was driving. So Gajot pulls me over. Now I gotta go to court and fight it. So Angel, I'll go before. Here's your ticket, Mr. Dunali. So now I needed a good judge. Because I knew I gotta pay this ticket, and it's when I seen Chet Chess, it's blocking New York. It's a disaster. When I got there, the judge was good. Looked at me, seen that I he knew that I burrow was canceled. Uh was Grazia. They go, you're good. Case dismiss. You have you have mercy. Because we was guilty, the plate messed up. Well, every day God is a merciful judge. Amen.
SPEAKER_02Every day.
SPEAKER_01You don't have to go to him. Is he gonna do this? He's gonna do no. You go to him and you say, devil, I need your mercy today, Lord. He will give it to you. It's just promise. Because the scripture that we mention every Wednesday, Lamentations, his mercy is new every morning. Amen. Hallelujah, Angelo.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna read this last verse. Come on. And uh let's go on. Let's just read it. Come on. This is Psalms 126, 5 through 6. Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. That's it. They will weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.
SPEAKER_01Hallelujah. My favorite scripture.
SPEAKER_02Many of us have tears at night. And it promises to have joy in the morn in the morning. And this scripture is talking about planting. Planting in tears and harvesting. And when I'm reading the scripture, I was thinking about it. And I'm gonna give you guys what my spirit revealed to me about planting. Are you guys ready? I wrote it down. The soil, the good soil, takes your sacrifice. Now, what does that mean? When you go to plant something, you have to make the hole, you gotta dig, it takes sacrifice, it takes your time, it takes your strength. Getting on your knees dirty, it takes something of yourself for the good soil. Sure. Planting your seed is your fate. When you have the seed in your hand, you can't do nothing with it. It don't look like anything, it don't look like the fruit that you want. Even if you get that seed and you open it up, nothing's gonna happen. So when you put that seed in the ground, you're having faith in God that God will make that seed, that seed into a fruit. Watering the seed is the word of God. Water represents the word of God, and when you put the word of God on top of the work you're doing, that's how you uh water the plant. And the seed growing is our obedience. Once we do all this and we're waiting, obey God. Obey Him in whatever you do, serve Him with all your heart, and now you will reap the harvest of joy.
SPEAKER_00Hallelujah. That's the harvest.
SPEAKER_02This is the steps you should take.
SPEAKER_01This is the steps you should do. So the steps are sacrifice, faith, obeying his word, and the word of God. Obeying the word of God.
SPEAKER_02Relying on the word of God.
SPEAKER_01Relying on the word of God, being obedient to his word. Yes. And then what's gonna produce is joy. Amen. Angelo, that's so good. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Angel.
SPEAKER_00Give a quick word to the people and then pray us out and pray for the whole rest of the week because the weekend's coming up. Pray for everybody.
SPEAKER_02Amen. My word is this. It's God's word. It strengthens you, it gives you hope. Amen. And his word is alive. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Let's uh let's pray. Thank you, Jesus. Amaroswent. Devla, we give you glory, honor, and praise on this beautiful day that you've given us, Lord. Thank you for your fresh mercy. Thank you, Muodadad, for the joy that awaits us every morning, Muadadad. Devlah, there are many people that have tears, but you bring them joy because you are good and you are merciful, Muhodad, and you are always with us, Devlah. Bless our day as we go forward, Devlah. Bless us in business, protect our families, Muadadad, and guide us, Holy Spirit, in all goodness. In the name of Jesus, we pray.
SPEAKER_00Amen and amen. Amen and amen. Angelo, absolutely beautiful way to end the week. Amen. We thank the Lord for you that you came. I pray that in Jesus' name that the Lord continues to bless you in your ministry, in the music ministry. Amen. And we can hear all the music on uh iTunes and uh Apple Music, all that. There we just be the new CD. It's unbelievable. Also, the teaching ministry in the Friday Bible study with you and Deacon Lawrence. May the Lord continue to bless you. Amen. Awesome word. And I pray in Jesus' name that that word implant in your guys' hearts and let it grow. So from the First Mercy Podcast, all three of us, we love you guys.
SPEAKER_01We love you. Have a blessed weekend.
