Good morning and welcome to Fresh Mercy Podcast, where God's mercy is fresh for you each and every morning. Good morning. Praise the name of the Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Give God glory today. Thank you, Lord. For He is good, He is awesome. He is powerful. Put your trust in Him and have no worry because the Holy Spirit is the comforter. Hallelujah. La Shomarodel. We thank God. Yesterday we learned about something that everyone deals with is anger. And if you have anger, go watch the other episode from yesterday and be delivered in the name of Jesus. Amen. Deacon Donnie, are you ready? Take it away, buddy. Take it away. Uh praise the Lord. I am ready. And I want to talk to you guys about being still. Now, when you hear being still, yeah, but things are going on. The easy past told me I gotta pay. We're busy. Sorry, easy. So uh being still can be taken as a negative term. Being still means stagnant, Bolivar, or being lazy, or being in one spot. Right. But I want to show you guys a verse and how God tells us to be still. Hallelujah. Are you guys ready? Yes. Okay, Psalms 46, 10 through 11. And it says this be still and know that I am God. I will be honored by every nation and I will be honored throughout the whole world. Hallelujah. So God is telling us to be still and know that I am God. Thank you, Jesus. When it says that he's gonna be honored in every nation and be honored in the world, that means that he's gonna receive the glory for whatever he does. So if you're a Christian and you're a believer, be still and know that he is God. Don't let your mind rampant run wild. Don't let your the an opportunity to to go out and try and take things in your own hands, don't run with that. But instead, be still and know that he is God. Just be patient. How many times I was panicked about something? Like if I had a ticket and I was panicked, I'm about to do this and go to the judge and say this and say that. But my lawyer would say, relax. I got it. Well, that's what God is saying for you today. Maybe you're going through a situation, you're going through a illegal situation, maybe a Nasfari Moss, maybe a problem, maybe there's a trouble in your household. I don't know what you're going through. But God is here to tell you today to be still and know that He is God. Very good. We're not gonna fix everything in a day. And we're not gonna fix everything in our own hands because we're gonna make mistakes and we're gonna fail. But the best thing we can possibly do in any situation is to be still. Amen. That's the key. Just be still. Just to be still and know that he is God. Amen. Wait on the Lord. Look what the Lord says. The Lord of heaven's army is here among us. The God of Israel is our fortress. Hallelujah. So look what he's telling them. Be still. I'm gonna be glorified throughout the nations. And guess what? I am powerful. I am all powerful. I am in control of heaven's army. I am among you, and I am Israel's fortress. Hallelujah. So now whatever promise that was promised to Israel and to the Jew is now grafted into us because when we believe in Jesus, the Bible is clear. There's no more Jew nor Gentile, only those who are in Christ Jesus. So anytime you go to the Old Testament, you see a promise towards Israel, take that to heart that your promise. Very good. See, we don't know that enough. No, we don't know that enough. We don't know about the promises of God. No. The promises of joy, of peace, of prosperity, of success, of him protecting us, of deliverance, him being with us, prospering us, watching over us, protecting us, everything. This is all benefits that we have as Christians. But the issue here is that we don't know the benefits we have as Christians. Pastor Matthew, shout out to Pastor Matthew from Philadelphia Armor of God Ministries. We love you, Pastor Matthew. A great illustration about learning about God's benefits. He said, because he bought a car, and uh what he'd do was in the morning, he will go out to the car, he would start his car and go back in the house because he didn't want to go and start his day in an ice cold car. So he used to do that every day. Until one day, somebody looked at him and said, Buddy, what are you doing? I had to go start my car because I didn't want to go in the cold weather. Oh, you got remote start. All you gotta do is go to the window, hit the button, the car will start. You see, he couldn't take advantage of the option he had because he didn't know the benefit that was to him. Well, I mean, are we doing that with God? 100% Are we not realizing the benefits we have in him? Are we not realizing the opportunity that we have in God? Are we not realizing because God is there with us and he tells us to be still because he's the one who's gonna handle our situation? We don't have to keep taking things in our own hands. We take in our own hands, we're gonna fail. We're gonna make mistakes. I learned it from first hand. But all we gotta do is put our faith in Jesus. All we gotta do is put our faith in God and rely on his benefits for us. Hallelujah. Uh let's look at the word be still here. Be still, this is the uh this is a a breakdown of the word. The Hebrew word here can also be translated as enough, stop, let go, or quit holding on. I like that. Quit holding on. Look, look at the translation it is that that one word can be enough. Yeah, you're overdoing it. Calm down. You ever go through something and you're mad and you're saying this, you're saying that, and then we're so bleed, relax. It's enough, quit it. Slow down, it's over. Slow down. God is telling us that. Amen. Very good. We're being so panicked. We're telling God, oh God, you don't understand what's going on with the situation. He's gonna enough. Yeah. Relax. It's enough. Cool it. Let it go. That's it. And give it to God. Amen. In your hand, you can't fix it anyway. You can't do nothing anyway. You know what the number one cause of anxiety is? Tell me. Trying to fix something that you can't. That's what gives people panic. That's what makes people freak out. That's what gives people anxiety. You can't fix it on your own. So why worry about it? Just give it to God. I know it's easier said than done, but let's just give it to God. But Donnie, there's a I don't mean to cut you off. No, please. But in Exodus, when Moses and the Israelites was escaping Egypt, they got to the Red Sea and they don't know what to do. They're panicking and they're freaking out. And now, please, Moses, talk to God. And God goes, and Moses goes to God. What are we doing? So God said, What are you crying about? Just go. What are you waiting for? Just go. So God's telling us today stop crying. Stop being worried. Stop having fear. Just go. God is with you. Amen. Hallelujah. And look at this, Vinny. I want to look at this part real quick. This is verse 11. The Lord of heaven's army is here among us. Hallelujah, Lord. Look at that promise. Look at that benefit that we sometimes take for granted. This is from the Blue Letter Bible. This was a story. David Guzick is giving a story on he heard about John Wesley. Okay. On the day that John Wesley died, now John Wesley is a very famous theologian. He helped the Wesley and Arminian doctrine. He helped shape it. He's a great man of God. He's a great man of God. And he said, on the day that he died, he had already near lost his voice. And he couldn't barely be understood. But at the time he summoned the last strength he had. And this is the all the strength that he can muster. And everything he could have done, this is his last address to whoever's around him. And look what he says. What a story, Don. The best of all is God is with us. Dolly, Dolly. That was his final word. That was his final word. The best of all is that God is with us. Amen. Then he raised his hands and waved it in triumph, exclaiming again with thrilling effect, the best of all is God is with us. Hallelujah. God is with you. Praise the Lord. So go to the Vela, the butt love, the buttu healing, the buttu anything, let your mind go. God is able and sufficient to fulfill everything you believe. Praise the Lord. No matter what situation you're facing, no matter what kind of trouble you're in, God is with you. Hallelujah. God is among us. God is with us. You know, the word, uh the name Jesus could also be translated to Emmanuel. And you know what the word Emmanuel means? God is with us. God with us. Amen. Thank you, Jesus, because he's with us constantly. He's always with us. He'll never leave us nor forsake us. There's a promise, another benefit that the word says that he sticks closer to us than our brother does. That's it. That he'll never leave us nor forsake us, that he's the same today, yesterday, and forever. These are three things that we can cling on as promises for us today. Hallelujah. And the major, major part is that God is with us. Thank you, Lord. And we're gonna end with this verse. Isaiah 46, 10 through 11. Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. Thank you, Lord. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my righteous, victorious right hand. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. God is with you. Don't have no fear. Don't have no doubt. Don't have no anxiety. God will make our pathway straight. God will make water in a wasteland. God will separate the Red Sea. God will uproot a mountain. God will take away any kind of sickness. God is able and above all things to do all things. Amen. Trust in God. God is with us. He'll never leave us nor forsake us. Look what he says: Don't be afraid, for I am your God. That's it. Your faith is not in a dead God. That's it. Your faith is not in a false God. No. Your faith is not in a God that's in a statue or is in a building. Your faith is in God who is in heaven and the Holy Spirit rules in you. Amen. That's the God that you serve. God is alive. He resurrected, he died and resurrected on the third day. And he gave us his spirit. He's alive today on Ohio and He's looking down at us, and His presence is with us. Walk in the benefits of God. Walk in the newness of God. Walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. Donnie, shout out to Deacon Bob from Atlantic City. Hey, Deacon Bob. Hey, Fat Man Scoop. Yeah, yeah. He called me up and we're talking about the Lord. And he said, Vinny, every day I get up and I say, Lord, all your promises, I accept them. I receive them. And when Bobby told me that, he said, Vinny, receive all those promises, receive all those benefits. It touched my heart and it changed my prayer life. Now, today, I want to encourage everyone listening. And Donnie, I want to encourage you too. That when we pray, say, Lord, I want to receive all those benefits. Amen. May I receive all those promises. The promises that you gave in the Bible that I don't know. Like Pastor Matthew didn't know the press, uh, the press start and you start up the car. We don't know all the promises of God. May we receive them and may we learn them and accept them and embrace them and trust them and love them. God, give us your promises today. Start praying that in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Amen. Let us uh go before the Lord. Yes, Lord. Heavenly Father, we thank you, Mogodad, for your word, Mogodil, which is another benefit that you've given us, Mogodad, to learn about you, Mogodil, to let us realize who you are, Mogodil. I pray, Mogodad, in the name of the Holy Spirit right now, in the name of Jesus, in the name of God the Father, Mogodil, we pray, Mogodad, that people will start walking in renewness of you, Mogodil. That they rely on your benefits, Mogodil, that they rely, Mogodad, on you being with them constantly, Mogodil. Lord, we take it in a negative term sometimes that you're always with us. Don't do this and don't do that because God is with us. Decolor, Melodil. But Lord, we want to take it and as an as a positive, Mogodad. That you're always with us, Mogodil. That you never leave us nor forsake us, Mogodil. And you give us the authority and the power, Mogodad, to live a Christian, holy life, Mogodil. I pray for my brothers and sisters today, Mogodil. Sugoritiavila, Mogodan. We pray in the name of Jesus that you, Mogodad, will take full control in their lives, in their situations. Let us stop, Mogodad, and be still and know who you are, Mogodad, in our lives. That you are the Almighty God who loves us, who came to this earth, became his very own creation, took our place on the cross, resurrected, ascended into heaven, and sent us. Holy Spirit, we thank you, God, for what you've done. Give us this, Father God. Our day, Mogodad, bless us, watch us, guide us, protect us, bless us in all areas. In Jesus' name, Amen and Amen. Amen. And praise the Lord from Fresh Mercy Podcast. We love you. God bless.
