Good morning and welcome to Fresh Mercy Podcast, where God's mercy is fresh for you each and every morning.
SPEAKER_02God bless you, Jonathan. God bless you guys for allowing us to be here. I won't hold you long, but we are going to continue the series on what we started on Monday. And if you've been watching the last four episodes, I hope they've been a blessing to you. They've been blessing us as well. We've been learning a lot of beautiful stuff about God's amazing grace and mercy. Closing out the week's spiritual warfare. We are closing out the week with Friday, and I want to continue on spiritual warfare. A lot of people think that spiritual warfare, Pastors TV, is the devil versus God and Satan versus the angels and the demon. No, no, no. Spiritual warfare is the Christian, the believer against Satan. You might have physical issues, spiritual issues, financial issues, my issues might not be your issues. I'm battling different things, but we all battle one thing as a believer. We all battle spiritual warfare. Satan has a goal for you, just like God has a goal for you. And God's goal is to bless and to protect and to heal. Satan's goal is to destroy and is to bring you down, to discourage you. And we've been talking about it for the last five days, to keep you in a spiritual cave of unforgiveness, of drugs, of bondage, of whatever that cave might be, to keep you there. But we got a lot of good news for you today. Jesus is ready to bring you out in the name of Jesus. But to find out a little bit about Satan's deception and warfare, I want to talk about his two biggest schemes. His two biggest schemes, Pastor, is temptation and deception. Temptation starts off with a thought. Temptation starts out with a bad attitude. Temptation starts out with a secret sin. Temptation starts out with a small voice against the will of God. And where does this all start? It starts on Negoji. The mind is the battlefield, Sarajal. Battlefield. The battlefield, the battleground. But Asunin, the bad thought, the mindfield, all that stuff will only stay a thought until it turns into action. And that's where the sin is. But only one person has the power to turn that ugly thought that you thought of into action. And it's not Satan, it's you. You have the power to keep that thought and keep it captive and throw it out, or you have that power to let it go from your mind to your heart to your feet, and you can turn it into actions and do whatever the world tells you to do and whatever that bad thought. Good or bad. But I want to talk about when could you have and they come into your mind, Manusan, and then first I want to say that spiritual warfare is not a one-time battle. I said no to sin. I said no to the girls, I said no to the drugs, I said no to the gambling. No, you said no today and you won your battle. Hallelujah. Well, it's coming back tomorrow, and it's coming back the next day and the next day and the next day. Spiritual warfare will be on until the day you die, a hundred years from now. So, how, when the bad jungalogundu a bell, when the bad temptation comes, when the bad deception comes, how do you hold the take it captive your mind? What should be your goal? What should be your mindset? Would you like to know? Waiting. Where does this thought take me? That's it. Where is this going to lead me? Is this going to lead me closer to the house of the Lord? Closer to God's amazing grace? Closer to the cross? Or is this thought going to take me to another woman? To the drugs, to the drinking, to the panavavarakas, the poor of glaten. Where is this thought taking me? A true-born-again believer will take that thought, throw it out of his mind, and go towards Jesus. But I'm going to give you a little quick example, Kabotol. For we are not fighting against flesh and blood, enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of an unseen world, against dig against mighty powers in this dark world, against evil spirits. So not to go lollipops and cotton candy. I'll go to church next week. We'll dedicate the kids. We'll do it next week. We'll go for the barbecue. We'll go for Christmas. This is spiritual warfare for the rest of your life. And if you're not in the word of God, and if you're not in the power of prayer, and if you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, every time that spiritual warfare comes, you will fall away further and further from God. And the further you drift away from God, the louder the temptation becomes. The further you go away from God, that temptation gets louder and a whole lot easier to fall into. Jesus was tempted in the garden. Nah, you didn't use Jesus.
SPEAKER_00It'll leave from temptation and turn into lifestyle.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Oh, that's so good. Jesus is tempted in the wilderness.
SPEAKER_00It'll leave from temptation and turn into your lifestyle.
SPEAKER_03Hey.
SPEAKER_02Right, perfect. Jesus is tempted in the wilderness. With three things. Satan tempts Jesus with appetite, he tempts Jesus with pride, and he tempts Jesus with fame and fortune.
SPEAKER_03Satan will never bring you something you don't like to eat. Now, let me just make this very clear. Temptation is not sin. No. So temptation is what you do with temptation. Exactly. Just want to make that clear.
SPEAKER_02So Satan.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Satan tempts Jesus with appetite. If you turn these stones into what? Bread. Satan is never going to give you something that you don't desire.
SPEAKER_00Well, why did he tell him?
SPEAKER_03But he also did it with Eve in the garden. I'm going to get there. Thank you, my son.
SPEAKER_00You want to take over? I told you he's a thing over.
SPEAKER_02I know. He's always going to tempt you with what you want. Not something you don't like. Then he'll tempt you with the pride of life. Then he'll tempt you. For the servants that are listening to this right now. You know what the biggest problem with success is for a servant? Pride.
SPEAKER_00No, I missed it. Say it again.
SPEAKER_02The success, the biggest the biggest problem for a success uh for a servant is success. You know why? Because with a servant and he becomes successful, I've a little pride.
SPEAKER_00You know, one of the great preachers, Amaro Homane, Pastor Nick Martin, said Failure teaches you what success can.
SPEAKER_01When success can absolutely. Tombstone could be your stepping stone. No, failure could be your tombstone or your stepping stone.
SPEAKER_02Very good, sir. So and then he tempted him with fame and fortune. I know a lot of great men, and the amarafur, and the mara Kangra, because of the pride and because of the business that they're in, the fame and fortune of it all, they don't serve the Lord. They have a calling upon their life, but because of the Almighty Buck, they keep it the fame more than they trust in Jesus.
SPEAKER_00You know, one of the uh pride can not one of the most dangerous areas of a servant's life is the pulpit.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_00People will do anything to get behind that pulpit. I guess I'm bingo know-how, bingo body matzo, some of the greatest speakers and teachers fell. Yes. Before the fall comes pride.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00Very good, Satan.
SPEAKER_03Was there anyone more Satan? He was the biggest choir director you were. Yes. And what happened to him? Pride.
SPEAKER_02Very good. Deception is one of the greatest ways that Satan deceives his people in spiritual warfare. When Eve seen the fruit, it was desirable for the eye. It was desirable that it will wait like God. And he said to her, You won't die. You see, Satan made the fruit attractive, beautiful, something desirable. He showed her the moment of pleasure, Techal. But Satan's deception was he didn't show her the lifetime of destruction.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. The outcome.
SPEAKER_00You're way above me. I mean, I know, but probably 80% didn't get what you just said. I think they did. So I was wrong.
SPEAKER_03No, you just he didn't show her the outcome of what would happen. Yes. He didn't show her the future, the ending result of what would happen when she ate the fruit. He just showed her it's not right.
SPEAKER_00It looks good. It looks good. Yeah, but what's gonna happen? I know she went to grabble, but she didn't know what it was gonna bring.
SPEAKER_02Yes. It brings shame, it brings separation, it bring pain, destruction, it brings debt. And that's Cayavello D'Uzmano. He'll give you the moment of pleasure and show you the beauty of it. But the lifelong pain. You see beautiful couples, devastation in the family. You've seen beautiful families, devastation. Blood of Jesus on everyone. But you know what I'm saying? For that moment, we never start, Asum Stevie. No one ever starts smoking pot. I want to take one little pot.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_02I like it. You wind up on Kodo Jungalophentanol, Kodo Suv, I jungle. I need one little pill because my back hurts. I gotta play a little golf. Or my neck is bad. Sorry. But it's Stevie, it's not Jonathan, Dikov. No, he's right. Next thing you know, Panglo San Pedraba. So they show you Starts off with a pill. It starts off with a pill, and it ends up it was a you're on the street looking for heroin because they can't give you any more pills because they rend line you because you went to all the doctors and they know you're an addict.
SPEAKER_00No. Very good.
SPEAKER_02This is the deception of Satan. And it's a lifelong battle. This is the cave. This is the cave life. And I know the beautiful scriptures I could give you now that Jesus gave you victory and Jesus nailed our sin to the cross and you have power in Christ. I said, Pedyao Vinny de Paraclisto, and walk with us and talk with us and give us your hallelujah. Put us in. If you're not in the Word of God for yourself, if you're not praying for yourself, I could be Billy Graham right now, I could be another Steve Miller right now, I could be the greatest preacher in the world. And if you're still always worried about the moment of pleasure and not worried about the lifelong suffering of pain, disaster, then you need to get right with Jesus today. Sin does have a consequence. And there's hell to pay for those outside the will of God. We have a God who brings fresh mercy and a new beginning and a fresh start. And he wants to see our families together and he wants to see our churches together. And he wants to see us prosper.
SPEAKER_03I know I'm cutting you off, but this is a podcast, and I want to say something. That when God says not to sin, Pastor, it's not that he doesn't want you to have fun. Out of cultured. Because he knows what it brings. The results. The results of sin. Now, well, Jesus don't want me to have fun. No, a la cultu. He's watching over your life to say don't do this because he knows what the result is. Understand?
SPEAKER_00I hope that when we tell our kids don't do this, they don't understand. We've been there, done that, and we know what the end result is.
SPEAKER_02Pastor Steve Bellard, our overseer, you're my spiritual father. But I had a father by the name of Johnny Mountain, God rest his soul.
SPEAKER_00No very well.
SPEAKER_02And he was one thing he wasn't to me. Mugoduzbano.
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_02Now I've uh late at night. And I thought a lot of times he was a pain in the neck. No, he was watching my future. Because you do it today. Why? Because he's bad. I mean some kanchi. But Jesus is good, and we're telling you that you have a heavenly father who loves you, who wants to restore you. And I'm giving you my heart now. Ayrtinamang, if you said anything wrong to do kavas to me, but you have a father who loves you, who cares for you, and he wants to see you walk with him and talk with him and sing with him. And there's a scripture told that I believe it's in Zephaniah 3 that uh it says that sings over your life. God sings over your life each and every day. Why is he sing over your life? Because he knows where you're going to the kingdom of heaven for all those who believe. Today, let Jesus sing over your life. Don't cause them to cry and grieve over your life. Cause Jesus to sing over your life. Let's get closer to God. Come out of the cave. Don't be deceptive. Where is it taking me? Is this taking me to Christ? Or is this taking me outside the will of God? Is this sin gonna break up my family? Is this sin gonna devastate my life? Or is this sin gonna bring me closer to the one who died for me? Who loves me so much? His one and only son.
SPEAKER_03Galatians 5.16, look what it says. So I say, Let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Amen. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves.
SPEAKER_02Enlighten us for a few moments, it ends read.
SPEAKER_00Our goal is to help, not to hurt. Amen. Which way are you going? Which way is your life leading you? What are you doing? Pol deavlesko drum by polyumacodrome. Polyumacodrome is easier, and maybe you think it's even more fun. But the end result is you don't know where it's taken you.
SPEAKER_02Wow.
SPEAKER_00But if you stay pol develasko drum, sometimes it's hard. Sometimes it's narrow. Sometimes two penas do how long? But I could guarantee it's leading you the right way.
SPEAKER_03That's right.
SPEAKER_00Stay, podivles codrome. Amen. Desper Godrome, and let God bless you. Amen. God bless you. From a fresh mercy podcast, I pray God's blessings on each and every one. God bless you. God bless everyone.
SPEAKER_03God bless you.
