Ronald McDonald House Stories
Since 1988, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area has been keeping families close in a place that feels like home – providing stability and resources when they need it most. Our mission is to surround families with the support they need to be near and care for their seriously ill or injured children. We provide a home-away-from-home to ease daily burdens and empower families of hospitalized children with meaningful experiences and quality time together.
'Ronald McDonald House Stories' is a Ronald McDonald House Charities Intermountain Area podcast that features stories from the guest families, volunteers, founders, and staff that spend time this special space. Each story is unique, capturing a special experience and, together, the stories weave a tapestry full of support, love, and family.

Episode 8
David Kamerath and his family hold a special place in the history of the Ronald McDonald House. They have lived in their house on N Street since before the Ronald McDonald House was built and have been witness to the growth of the charity and the expansion of the mission. During this episode, we talk to our kind and patient neighbor as he recounts how he came to live in his N Street home, what he loves about being so close to the RMH, and what the mission means to his family.
