Most men I know felt really frustrated when they first heard about affirmative consent - after all, this felt like yet another example of men being burdened with women's' responsibilities.
But I've come to realise that there could be a very real way in which affirmative consent may prove to be a very positive change for us guys in the long run - and there's good evidence existing to suggest that we should consider embracing the yes means yes ideology.
What could be the hidden benefit?
