book"},{"startTime":197.295,"endTime":199.435,"body":"and Jesus is speaking to a crowd of people"},{"startTime":199.73499999999999,"endTime":202.835,"body":"and he starts actually"},{"startTime":199.73499999999999,"endTime":202.835,"body":"calling them out first"},{"startTime":202.89499999999998,"endTime":205.635,"body":"for not heeding the message of"},{"startTime":202.89499999999998,"endTime":205.635,"body":"a guy named John the Baptist,"},{"startTime":205.965,"endTime":208.755,"body":"whose role was to prepare the"},{"startTime":205.965,"endTime":208.755,"body":"people for Jesus's ministry."},{"startTime":209.095,"endTime":212.67499999999998,"body":"And second, for all the miracles"},{"startTime":209.095,"endTime":212.67499999999998,"body":"he did throughout all their"},{"startTime":212.885,"endTime":215.67499999999998,"body":"towns in that region and"},{"startTime":212.885,"endTime":215.67499999999998,"body":"their lack of repentance,"},{"startTime":216.305,"endTime":220.11499999999998,"body":"even though many witnessed the"},{"startTime":216.305,"endTime":220.11499999999998,"body":"miraculous things Jesus did,"},{"startTime":220.42499999999998,"endTime":222.355,"body":"they neither believed he was God"},{"startTime":222.775,"endTime":224.875,"body":"nor the Messiah they were all waiting for."},{"startTime":225.215,"endTime":226.595,"body":"And so Jesus calls them things"},{"startTime":237.465,"endTime":238.795,"body":"from the wise and learned"},{"startTime":239.095,"endTime":241.23499999999999,"body":"and revealed them to little children."},{"startTime":242.095,"endTime":244.635,"body":"So these things is what"},{"startTime":242.095,"endTime":244.635,"body":"I just talked about."},{"startTime":244.935,"endTime":248.035,"body":"The signs that he was"},{"startTime":244.935,"endTime":248.035,"body":"the Messiah, the wise"},{"startTime":248.135,"endTime":251.515,"body":"and learned were those people"},{"startTime":248.135,"endTime":251.515,"body":"who thought they knew in"},{"startTime":254.195,"endTime":258.755,"body":"front of them, surprisingly many"},{"startTime":258.755,"endTime":260.355,"body":"of them were the religious God."},{"startTime":347.855,"endTime":349.475,"body":"And so I just want to take you back to"},{"startTime":349.69500000000005,"endTime":351.435,"body":"how Jesus started this prayer."},{"startTime":351.745,"endTime":354.71500000000003,"body":"This is what he says, I praise you Father"},{"startTime":355.26500000000004,"endTime":356.675,"body":"Lord of heaven and earth."},{"startTime":357.845,"endTime":362.19500000000005,"body":"Jesus started this prayer with praise,"},{"startTime":362.21500000000003,"endTime":365.19500000000005,"body":"is honoring God because of who he is and"},{"startTime":365.19500000000005,"endTime":369.15500000000003,"body":"because of his acts, it's"},{"startTime":365.19500000000005,"endTime":369.15500000000003,"body":"acknowledging his supremacy"},{"startTime":369.175,"endTime":370.51500000000004,"body":"and authority in our lives."},{"startTime":371.255,"endTime":373.555,"body":"Praise states that he is God"},{"startTime":373.855,"endTime":377.875,"body":"and we are not that he is"},{"startTime":373.855,"endTime":377.875,"body":"strong and we are by"},{"startTime":487.51500000000004,"endTime":491.39500000000004,"body":"remembering the word acts,"},{"startTime":487.51500000000004,"endTime":491.39500000000004,"body":"which is an acronym that stands"},{"startTime":491.45500000000004,"endTime":496.39500000000004,"body":"for adoration, confession,"},{"startTime":491.45500000000004,"endTime":496.39500000000004,"body":"Thanksgiving and Supplication."},{"startTime":497.255,"endTime":499.915,"body":"The first part of that sequence, excuse"},{"startTime":500.615,"endTime":502.915,"body":"is adoration or when"},{"startTime":549.965,"endTime":551.355,"body":"these two guys called Paul"},{"startTime":551.375,"endTime":555.195,"body":"and Silas were put in prison"},{"startTime":551.375,"endTime":555.195,"body":"for telling others about Jesus,"},{"startTime":555.6650000000001,"endTime":556.835,"body":"this is what we actually read."},{"startTime":556.835,"endTime":558.195,"body":"It says this about midnight."},{"startTime":558.345,"endTime":561.995,"body":"Paul and Silas were praying"},{"startTime":558.345,"endTime":561.995,"body":"and singing hymns to God."},{"startTime":561.995,"endTime":563.5550000000001,"body":"They were praising and the other"},{"startTime":563.5550000000001,"endTime":564.955,"body":"prisoners were listening to them."},{"startTime":566.015,"endTime":568.595,"body":"Now these guys had every reason in the"},{"startTime":568.755,"endTime":570.275,"body":"book to be discouraged."},{"startTime":570.535,"endTime":573.275,"body":"And yet while bound in stocks,"},{"startTime":574.4250000000001,"endTime":575.955,"body":"they chose to praise God."},{"startTime":576.775,"endTime":578.395,"body":"And you can't tell me that came easy."},{"startTime":579.105,"endTime":581.475,"body":"That wasn't their first inclination."},{"startTime":582.375,"endTime":583.475,"body":"And so hope said, you don't matter"},{"startTime":583.505,"endTime":587.5550000000001,"body":"what is going on in our"},{"startTime":583.505,"endTime":587.5550000000001,"body":"life, it is our
