Secret Church
Due to hostility from the government, from the surrounding community, and even from their own families, many of our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world are forced to gather in secret, sometimes at the risk of their lives. With few opportunities to gather and little access to biblical teaching, our persecuted brothers and sisters may meet for eight to twelve hours at a time simply to sing, pray, and study God’s Word. This God-centered focus is a helpful corrective to the desire for entertainment that characterizes many church gatherings in the U.S.Encouraged by our persecuted brothers and sisters’ example, each year, we gather for over 6 hours of intense study of God's Word and passionate prayer for the persecuted led by pastor, teacher, and author David Platt.

When approaching the topic of "God, Government, and the Gospel," we are inundated with questions and issues to consider. But ultimately, we must seek to hear clearly what God has said in His Word about government; distinguish carefully between God's Word and our wisdom; unite joyfully around God's Word in the church as we work charitably according to our wisdom in the world; live justly, love kindness, and walk humbly with God in our nation; and live zealously for the spread of God's love and the glory of God's name among all nations.
Secret Church happens once a year, inspired by believers who gather at great cost.
