I spent 20 years in law enforcement. I know exactly what that move looks like from the inside.

The reason: Anthropic refused to allow their AI to conduct mass domestic surveillance or make lethal autonomous decisions without a human in the loop. They drew a line. And got punished for drawing it. I break down what actually happened, why it matters, and the one operational lesson every business owner needs to take from this today.
