My career has been anything but linear.
I graduated from Indiana University with a Public Affairs and Environmental Science degree.
I thought he'd be spending his time outdoors, in the wilderness, after graduating. That's not what happened.
Eventually, I became discouraged by this career track and pivoted into a sales role at Reliance Steel and Aluminum in Los Angeles.
After several sales roles, I decided to return to school and get an MBA. I really liked operations but fell in love with marketing.
However, during my MBA program, I took an internship that lead me into recruiting and had to fight like hell to get back on track with marketing; this meant eventually starting my own business because no one would hire me with no experience and several years beyond completing my MBA.
I'm now a marketing and revenue operations professional and help others with their pivots.
