Mortgage maturities were one of the drivers in the multifamily market in the second quarter with dollar volume jumping 108% quarter-over-quarter to $2.83 billion and transactions rising 4% to 265. The future looks even better for the multifamily market as Treasuries have fallen below 4% and the market expects the Fed to cut rates at its next meeting in September.
