#174: Why It’s Okay To Be Angry With Alistair Moes, Angerman
•
Vancouver Real
Can anger be a good thing?
“We’re supposed to get angry,” says Alistair Moes of Moose Anger Management. It’s when we suppress our emotions, stress, and hurt, that anger becomes a problem, in essence, taking control of our actions and sometimes even our lives.
Listen to learn how just a simple, yet essential, mindfulness practice can help us listen to our bodies, increase interoception and empathy, and deal with our shame.
Key takeaways:
- Anger can be constructive, it doesn’t have to be destructive
- People need to become more aware of what’s actually happening in their body
- We’re not after perfection, we’re after improvement
- It’s important that when these emotions hit us, we’re actually aware of them
- Floatation therapy is a great way to increase awareness and interoception
