This week's guest is award-winning journalist, author and broadcaster Angela Saini. She has the knack of getting to the nub of how science impacts us all whether it's How Science Got Women Wrong in her book Inferior, or in her latest book Superior which explores the murky history of race science.

Host, artist & illustrator Lou Hamilton talks with Angela as they discuss how 'race' as a social construct reaches its tentacles far and wide; not least in how racism impacts health as we've seen in the spiked numbers of ethnic minorities affected during the global pandemic. Angela talks about why she has come off certain social media, and why she wants to use platforms that give space & time for more nuanced discussion and debate, in order to move things forward for the better.
