This week's guest is is Crystal Yu, an actor, filmmaker and educator, best known for her performance as Dr Lily Chao in the BAFTA award-winning medical drama Casualty. She has most recently been seen on AMC's Soulmates, HBO's Industry, and Netflix's A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby.

Host & artist, Lou Hamilton chatted with Crystal as they discussed the trials of being a foreigner and an outsider while boarding at a dance school in the UK, then discovering her love of acting only to be faced with stereotypical parts for her as a young Chinese woman. But she collected her no's whilst saying yes to herself, and her perseverance was rewarded.
