This week's guest is Rie Aoyagi, a Japanese ballerina who worked for a ballet company in Romania, travelling and performing on many of the world's greatest stages. But ballet is tough on the body and last year she had to have surgery, returning to her homeland of Japan to heal.

Host & artist Lou Hamilton and Rie discuss coming to the UK as a young child only to find that her body wasn't the right build for a typical ballerina. Nevertheless she persisted through rigorous training and repetitive injuries, until she eventually won a place in the Romanian Ballet Company. Except that her hips were giving up just as she was was hitting her prime.
