Leviticus 19:18 The concept of the "Golden Rule" has been around for thousands of years. In fact, it was a regular part of the ancient near east for 2,000 years before the time of Christ. We see it in Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Taoism, and many other world religions. We see John Wesley and his followers putting it into action in the 1700's as well and today we see how we can practice it in our faith.
