Julie Rice Suggs Ph.D. obtained her Ph.D. in Food Technology at Clemson University. She is currently the Academic Director for The Packaging School, which offers 100% online and affordable specialized certificate programs and courses in the packaging industry. She is the lead instructor for the Certificate of Mastery in Packaging Management Program run through Clemson Center for Corporate Learning and works closely with the creative team to build instructional content for various companies. Julie has published ten papers in various prestigious packaging journals. During her time at Clemson, Julie has traveled to Campinas, Sao Paulo, Brazil to present her research at the International Association of Packaging Research Institutes Conference. In her spare time, Julie takes part in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program.
