LOTS OF THINGS HAVE CHANGED, AND PEOPLE DON’T LOVE CHANGE 

No matter where you are in life (or job), the New Year tends to make you self-reflect and re-prioritize the things that are important to you. And when this dynamic happens within teams, those two priorities don’t always align.  

SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO PRIORITIZE THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU

1. If you’re a team leader, remember to over communicate. Hallways don’t exist anymore, and Slack/Email threads often get ignored. 
2. Take stock of where people are with regard to their priorities, their goals, and their frustrations. 
3. Everything feels crazy these days in terms of recruiters and job offers and salary levels, but find a way to balance or evaluate “new, big!!” and what aligns to your goals.
4. Find ways to socially interact with people in fun ways.
