Show Notes

Maybe you're like me and you had to pick yourself up and get back into position.

This episode comes with a trigger warning for grief (so if that something you can't deal with right now I totally understand -- please save this one for later).

In this episode I go more into detail about the emotional rollercoaster ride I have been on in the last five years and how I refuse to let it all take me out. I share biblical inspiration and what actions I have been motivated to take (and not take) to shift my perspective, pick myself up and get myself together after life knocked me down and tried to keep me there.

If you’re having a similar experiences I hope that you can do things that look like self care to you to refill your cup, recalibrate your perspective and motivate you to keep moving forward in love with peace and hope. I know that going through traumatic things back to back to back can have you subconsciously (and, shoot, even consciously) questioning God’s love for you. There were so many times through all of this where I DID NOT feel like God’s favorite. But nothing can separate us from his love. Nothing. And caring for yourself in such a way with faith helps you to be reminded of that through his grace.

Thank you so much to everyone who has rallied around us and shown support, kindness, thoughtfulness, sympathy, and love throughout these trying times for me and my family.  You have truly been the hands and feet of God.
