Maybe you're like me and there's someone who doesn't like you.
And that's okay! You will have haters. You will face opposition. You will get attacked. Especially as a servant of the Lord. But, as a servant of the Lord, you can trust that God will protect you from the weapons of your earthly enemies and the enemy of your soul. And not only will he protect you, he will prosper you right in their faces.
Isaiah 54:17 in the NLT reads:
"But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed.You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!"
In this week's episode, I want to encourage you if you're feeling the sting of rejection. Don't be afraid of disappointing and upsetting other people. Let your intentions be to be kind to them from a space of empowerment from God and not as a form of self-protection. The former earns a reward from God while allowing him to protect you.
Proverbs 25: 21-22 says, " If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them water to drink. You will heap burning coals of shame on their heads, and the Lord will reward you."
