The Health and Wealth Heresy is rivaled today by the Sick and Poor Heresy, the spuriously pious idea that robs God of his glory and tramples his promises by assuming that illness and poverty are the expected common lot of his faithful, world-conquering saints, and that we should never pray in faith, expecting deliverance.
