You get to build your business your way. And that's exactly what I talked about today with my guest, Judy Louie. Judy is a registered psychotherapist, registered marriage and family therapist, and the founder of Your Story Counselling Services. Founded in 2017, Your Story Counselling offers individual couples and family therapy rooted in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.

With clinic locations in Vaughan and Markham, Ontario, and virtual services available across Canada, the practice is home to a diverse team of registered psychotherapists and registered social workers. In 2020, Judy launched the Affordable Therapy York Region program, which offers low-cost sliding-scale therapy through master's levels interns.

as part of the clinic's commitment to accessible and barrier-free mental health. Judy has been featured in the Toronto Star where she discussed the toll of COVID-19 on romantic relationships and mental health. She is also a contributing co-author in the first edition of an Intersectional Approach to Sex Therapy, centering the lives of Indigenous, racialized and people of colours.

She also serves on the Anti-Racism Advocacy Group with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, where she helps organize community events and panels focused on racial trauma and advocacy. In 2024, Judy was named a Micro-Business Finalist in the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards.

She has had the privilege of leading workshops and participating in panels and speaking engagements focused on women's entrepreneurship, mental health in business, and the wellbeing of women of colour. Judy's latest project continues her commitment to amplifying the voices of fellow leaders and trailblazers of colour through her upcoming podcast,
