Rightly Divide the Word of Truth
Introduction to Introduction to the Writings of Paul
This is the eight episode in a series of introductory overviews to various sections of the scriptures. We are now dealing with the writings of the Apostle Paul in the New Testament, from Romans through Hebrews. These 14 books represent 52% of the NT scriptures by number of books, but an even greater percentage by volume of writing.
Romans 15:4 KJV
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Hebrews 4:12 KJV
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
