The Cornfed Coaching team were delighted to talk with Kelly Cagle. Kelly walked us through her journey of being a star player growing up in Arizona, going to Duke and stints in Japan and the inaugural women's soccer league (WUSA). Kelly has had an illustrious coaching career coaching at Texas and Wake Forest before leading the Virginia Tech Women's program. She now serves as the leadership director and works in the ECNL for the Phoenix Rising. Kelly talks about the level of players she's played with and against. She tells the very humbling story of her time at Virgina Tech while the mass shooting happened on campus. A facsinating conversation and one the Cornfed team won't forget soon.
