Nominated for a Primetime Emmy, Directors Guild of America, and an Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Award, Michael Rymer has also won an Australian Film Institute, Hugo, Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and Rotterdam International Film Festival award – to name but a few.
Michael Rymer’s credits include such films as Perfume (starring Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Mann, and Michelle Williams) In Too Deep (starring LL Cool J, Omar Epps and Stanley Tucci) Angel Baby (starring Jacqueline McKenzie) the smash hit Face to Face (over 40 international awards) Queen of the Damned (based on the Anne Rice novel) and television shows such as American Horror Story (20th Century Fox Television) Deadline Gallipoli (starring Sam Worthington) the reimagined version of Picnic at Hanging Rock (Amazon Studios - starring Natalie Dormer from Game of Thrones) Hannibal and Battlestar Galactica (which Michael directed and also co-produced) and the upcoming Stan series The Gloaming.
